Can someone post the link where there are any direct quotes from VVD? I know there is no smoke without fire but people are reacting like the stuff posted is gospel. That idiot on talksport was saying he had stated he wants to leave but again, I haven't seen that quote direct from him or his agent? I prefer to assume that even if he does want a double your pay move (who wouldn't) that he is professional enough to get on with his job until such time it happens even if it is next summer. You have to think on the wages he was on, his choices were limited. But then again so were united's as how else would they off load a player that Jose clearly didn't want. It's a good deal all round really, Everton get England's record scorer for the last couple of years, he will be a big draw for them no matter what his impact is, United get rid of the constant circus of having him on the edge of their squad. Not sure what his impact will be football wise but clearly it's a good deal for their commercial department.

He is an awful pundit. Having never played at a decent level he has nothing insightful to add and mostly talks about his betting. I never listen to anything he is on.

It is widely speculated that he will sign for them and if he does I hope he strikes to get a move.

I really hope Coutinho or VVD go on strike at Liverpool to force a move to Barcelona or Madrid. Of course Aldridge and Quinn will be saying that's it is their right to do so and that Liverpool should let them move without trying to keep them.

Lol..it's not hard is it? Didn't like what he served up and no matter what the future holds I will never wish we still had him as the manager! I won't..I know we might finish lower, that's what happens for teams of our size... Puel made me not really want to bother going. My son missed two games to do other things towards the end of the season as he wasn't that fussed...first time in years that's happened. I am glad he is gone and still will be even if we go down.

It's funny the ones who wanted to keep Puel, are now , in some cases, the ones creating a fuss whilst we look for a new manager. As usual they "assume" people's reactions to a new manager when we don't even know who it is!
