  1. Do you really think we would or even could buy a player of Harts status? I would rather keep Forster but I think his replacement was purchased already last summer so he will be off somewhere else. To answer the OP I was hoping we would have a stable summer and improve the squad... To leave? Martina (he is ok but not getting game time so taking up a spot in the squad. Same for Pied. Reed Again no game time Gardos Isgrove Gazza If Puel is in charge we may as well get rid of Tadic Austin Clasie Hojbjerg Caceras J rod Long As they are adding nothing to the squad any present.

  3. OR, Yoshida and Stephens didn't play much last season so how is that compatible? They haven't improved they have just played. Do you really think Tadic is the same player..look at his goals and assists in previous years? JWP I wil give you. Bertrand looks not interested compared to previous seasons.
  4. Are they like for like? Where was Sims playing against Hull?
  5. I disagree, he gets credit for a good performance, the happy clappers however give every excuse under the sun for all the poor ones. "It's not his fault the strikers can't finish, it's not his fault players don't look interested" etc etc Make up your mind is he responsible or not?
  6. Corrected for you.
  7. He also failed to get us to qualify for Europe which Koeman did on two occasions.
  8. He stands well to his left leaving the wall to cover the other side. We conceded a goal direct from a free kick the same as that a few games ago and we were lucky yesterday as he would have not got near that. He stands so far to his left..surely being just off centre gives him a chance to cover the whole goal but it looks like his positioning gives such a big target if the taker can get it up and over the wall?
  9. I thought we pushed RK out as we wouldn't let him go into the last year of his contract?
  10. Selling all our best players every summer should also end the same way but we do that! I thought our model was based upon it not being an issue if we lose the manager or players? We just move on to the next one?
  11. I We can get rid of all these forwards who can't score..but where are the ones who can score coming from?
  12. That's what gets team relegated..let the current manager sell all the player which "don't fit" (even though they fitted before) and buy his own players in the summer. By the time a new one is in it will be too late and there is no money to rebuild he squad. IMO he goes this summer or see's out next season in full.
  13. Just seen the advert..quite moving, nice advert and good on pampers...
  14. Sure has...when we finished bottom of the premier league we only won 5 home games..this year we have won ......how many at home?
  15. With Arsenal Man U and Stoke still to play .....at home in the league we have only beaten: Burnley Palace Swansea Everton Leicester Middlesbro ..That's it. Three of the bottom five One of the top six and two mid table teams. No wonder the fans are not happy..
  16. Not seen it.. What on earth is the context? Lol
  17. I thought Yoshida was shaky today but Stephens done ok. Certainly doesn't take the intimidation handed out and gave it back as much as he was dealt it. Can't see he point in playing Caceras if we are not keeping him next season. It would appear that he isn't good/fit enough to be picked so would assume he is here "just in case"

    Puel in

You are right.. Keep quoting the cup final as a measure of success... Wigan and Swansea both actually won cup finals in recent years and they are flying now.. It's the biggest measure of which direction a club is heading. Long live Puel!
  19. No just a new manager.
  20. I started supporting Saints when Poch was in charge..never been before that.
  21. I like Redmond. Granted not playing at the top of his game but of course few are in the team at present. i expect we could sell him for a profit this close season with being called up for England etc
  22. Are you suggesting the manager IS responsible for what happens on the pitch? I thought we had moved away from that now? Can't you see that strikers not scoring and goal keepers not saving is not the managers fault? Why do you think Moyes hasn't been sacked? If a player scores15 goals for us last year and choses to score only 3 or 4 this year, how is that the managers fault? If Gabbiadini is not on the pitch, say at the end of a cup final or against Hull, so he doesn't score, how is that the managers fault? Can't you see everyone else has got better so we should be losing to everyone especially the top 6 so that's not Puels fault? Not sure what the Puel out brigade think he is responsible for?
  23. We finished last season second only in form to Leicester, it's a remarkable turnaround TBF.
  24. Lots have said it...poor Puel is the only manager who is not responsible for anything that happens on the pitch. Until the club back him by buying Messi, Ronaldo, Luiz, Hazard, Costa, De Gea, walker, Kane, wanyama, Mane and Lukaku you just can't hold him to account as he hasn't got the tools to do the job.
