Errr you seem the hysterical one? The two games in hand are arsenal and Man Utd..and we have not got a great record against the top six this season! -

Thought we were ok. Played the same as the rest of the season. We are consistent TBF. Our subs, IMO, changed the game..after the two subs we ended up more 4 2 4 which is why Romeu and Davis were over run in midfield and suddenly we looked second best. Lucky to get away with the miss their forward put past the post. Needed Hojbjerg or similar to even up midfield but got McQueen? -
no they haven't..you still get your early bird price and it's the same as you paid last year? You must be looking for another discount on top of that? Is there any point having a two teir system if we sold a decent amount of season tickets last year as potentially it's just a couple of thousand extra season tickets to be sold at the higher price. I suppose the question is does a discount for having a ticket the season before, actually make much difference to people renewing or not? i can't see the club can be criticised too much for this IMO..ultimately why should someone wanting a season ticket this year have to pay more for the same product as I pay just because I had one last year?

. If you were Virgin would you subsidise the same home fans every game or subsidise a new set of away fans every game so that fans of every club in the league talk about your generosity?

Redmond shortlisted for EA player of the month!

Yes Lukaku will probably win but, as you say, good recognition, alongside his England call up! -
https://www.premierleague.com/news/354749 One in the eye for the "Haters!" Vote Remond!

Never heard them all before but enjoyed the clips...Are the lyrics of the yellow and blue one.."when the yellow and blue beat Manchester who?"...we should play that over the tannoy everytime we play them!
-
Lol and your opinion isn't shared by the professionals who work in the game, our manager and the England manager. I know whose opinion I would have more belief in!
-
We haven't really ever been a super power though have we? It's been a long time since we really had a chance in a tournament and even when we have been good, say under Robson as an example, we were only saved by one group game when it looked like we were going out. I think the view that the EPL is ruining our national team is just one of those things that if said enough people start to believe. It's an honour for JWP and Redmond and well deserved recognition. Well done to them. Hopefully Southgate will get the team playing as a team and include some of the new blood!

I expect that they would be looking to raise their matchday income up to enear Arsenals which is something like 100m a year I think.
-
Spurs are already one of the highest price season tickets so we may see a new standard bearer for cost at a footy match with their new stadium. Talking of payback on the investment, Spurs new ground will cost, what 400m? If you try to get a 7 year payback on that , it would mean about £1000 a year per seat but that's not profit as you'd need to remove operating costs for the stadium etc...not sure 7 years would be feesable for many projects of that size?
-
I am with you. It's funny how any mention of Puel being ****e is met with scorn and abuse yet many many posters slate our goalkeeper, and even make audible noises at the stadium when he does things wrong/right, yet that's all acceptable. What about Bournemouth away when certain "fans" cheered a pass by Hojbjerg as they perceived he was playing so bad? TBH we don't deserve any loyalty from our players.

If we come away with a close defeat that will be a very good result. Spurs, even without Kane, are one of the best three teams in the league. They have lost the least games along with Chelsea and I think Man U?
-
Lol top trolling 6.5/10
-
I If you are making up scenarios to back up your argument (eg chelsea go through) Then I can say that means Man U are out so we can play them that Saturday or not as they have Burnley! Lol anyway I wasn't talking about scheduling I was talking about a hypothetical what's the best way to play three games in a week... It didn't work for us whatever you say as we lost how many in a row in the league AND didn't get past the first round of games in Europe.

Who Do We Choose To Ship Out This Summer?
Saint-Fred replied to View From The Top's topic in The Saints
Hey it's not everyone.. I am with you a really good keeper having a poor spell. -
Yes and if he hadn't thrown himself to the floor he wouldn't have been there for Mings to tread on! It's funny that Surman got yellow for a small push (quite rightly) yet earlier Ibra got away with throwing a Bournemouth player to the floor!

If you consider how any business works, it's employees must protect the brand and ensure that it continues to grow. You'd have to think that referees were included in multiple briefs etc about their importance to growing that brand. They would also be briefed that certain teams are more important to that brand than others. Even if it is not said outright, I am sure that the inference to referees would always be that it is better for the league if the big clubs win.

Obviously VVD was nailed on prior to his injury...I would agree with you and say Romeu.
-
Err no I didn't say sacrifice the Europa league I said ignore Saints? And if you think the plan was to qualify for the Europa league by scoring a goal in the last minute of the last game you are deluded. And we have one midweek game in April so far so with the two postponed games we will have three over two months? (Unless we already have another scheduled I can't be bothered to check) I think you are overdramatising a bit..
-
Surely the only debate is whether it was deliberate or not? Once it was decided it was deliberate he is lucky not have been banned for six months.
-
General point, let's keep it away from Saints as people get touchy, surely if faced with that scenario you are better playing your first team on the two Saturday's and playing a really weakened team on the mid week game? That would mean a chance of 6 points rather than having a less than full strength side playing within themselves to conserve energy over all three?
-
He's a bit short to go in goal..but then again being tall isn't helping Fraser at present!
-
On current form, who would you leave out for him though?
-
Stephens is getting game time as is Prowse? Obviously with less rotation the pull on the rest of the squad is less. So players outside the first 13/14 will be getting less game time whether they are academy or not. Personally I think its important they get time but it's not helpful if, for example, McQueen is played alongside a back 4 consisting of only one first choice player. That can't be good for their development? I am sure they will get time but hopefully as one change in the team not a group of changes, therefore it won't be that regular.
