Hey Arsenal are a very much improved side of late,keeping faith in their youth system and blooding some very gifted and hungry wanna be first teamers. Both encounters are going to be a big test of how far we have progressed ,and if we can recapture our good early season form allowing injuries to heal and get the regular first team players back. But id settle for 2 scrappy 1-0 wins.

Just think all of us including myself didn't want the club to go on and spend £20million on a crocked injury prone player when we had to. Now all of a sudden hes the best thing since sliced bread. Sure hes a good finisher but im of the opinion of the above poster that we hope that RH has targeted another replacement should this situation arise. Hope he stays but not to get injured again like he has done this season already thus sparking panic from within WHOS GOING TO SCORE FOR US?. From the bench/squad there dosent seem to be any clear and obvious candidates to immediately fill us with a spark of confidence that this player will add another dimension to our goal scoring threat.

Well its not the first team and that's taken, and dose taking the captains armband really mean a nailed on place in the squad of the B team?.....it seems the lad hasn't progressed enough and this might be a kick start of what he may miss in the future,a very well paid job.

Great result tbh didn't think we were going to get a result ,but very pleased we did. They only managed 1 shot on target i think. Nice to see the youngsters given an opportunity ,when i saw Long warming up i feared like most the emptiness of yes he give defenders something to think about runs alot etc......newsflash hes well paid to do just that wouldn't you?.....Valery as we all know just didn't seem to have enough conviction that he was getting to the ball in time to put enough behind his shot,but that said we played well enough to be deserving of 3 priceless European spot points.

No he wasnt ...replaced Valery because he makes too many unforced errors,and besides that hes way better.

Bertrand slowed our game to a walking pace far too often again tonight.Almost like he doesn't trust Djenepo infront of him to be more decisive . That said Djenepo seems clueless and always looks like he'll get a booking at some stage through due care and control. Why Long again................really, i think we've been unlucky with offside calls in tight games recently but were lacking ideas again playing TOO SLOW easy to get a shape against us once more ,but we didnt loose.

How many seasons has he had at this club ................time enough to develop his techniques . Dosent create enough and why oh why dose he always walk away from a goalden opportunity looking up to the sky (where he normally put the ball ) rather than hit the target and celebrate a goal.Seems all the trainning the team gets when it comes down to the nuts and bolts of composure they all seem to lack it why?...........they are well paid to convert the weeks effort into something more substantial!
