Mmm, I suppose Villas-Boas was also Chelsea's Championship Manager geek at a pretty early age as well. Crikey, football has changed, in the good old days it was dodgy geezers in their 60's with Cockney accents who did this sort of thing.

Interesting, that's the second time I've seen Vokes' name mentioned in the last 24 hours by people whose comments I think are always worth noting (the other person to mention Vokes being Clive Foley).

Perhaps Bristol City and Doncaster have narked off Cortese in recent months (maybe partly as they both beat us??!!??), and he wants to play no part in any auction which may see them get more money for their players. The interesting thing with potentially signing Jutkiewicz is that we were supposed to have royally peeved off Coventry when we didn't sign Elliott Ward a couple of years ago and went for Seaborne instead, so you wonder whether Cov would hold out for any other potentially interested clubs (Middlesboro??).

Meant to say in addition, I thought the bubble was actually pretty good. Not as much fun as the train obviously, but safe and well-organised.

I was on bus 30 and saw the bottle of pee being lobbed at the jogger from bus 29, had to admit it was funny at the time, albeit not for him obviously. Shame it hadn't been lobbed at some of the mongs hanging out of their front doors near the ground giving the usual signs.

Comedy genius.

I'm after a bit of advice, speaking as somebody who has next to no interest in cars. Following a rather large piece of fortune, I have become eligible for a company car at work. I have been sent a rather long list of cars for which I qualify, some of which I may have to have a monthly deduction from my salary for as they are above my grade entitlement. The list mainly includes Fords, Vauxhalls, Renaults, and the odd BMW and Mercedes. I am keen to have something that satisfies the following:- - not a huge car, partly as I am a crap parker but also as I don't want it to be so wide that it won't fit down the drive (a Galaxy would probably be too wide) - not too hefty on company car tax (ie low CO2 emissions and not too heavy on the list price; I'll be paying fuel benefit tax as well as car benefit) - a decent family car, got the wife plus 2 kids to fit in, plus we're currently fostering a third at present. - like to be able to sit quite high up to get some perspective of where the hell I am I drove a Mondeo last week and that was far too low. Am currently veering towards a Ford Focus Titanium, I quite like the look of their Sony DAB radio, but I really have no idea what would be best, and I really don't want to be test-driving about 80 vehicles. Anybod got any recommendations? Cheers.

I was near the back of Block 41 tonight. Have to admit to being bemused by about 50 kids in this area all being a bit obsessed with de Ridder. I wasn't completely sure whether they think he's useless and are giving it the "STTEEEEVVVEEEE" chant out of sheer irony, or whether they think he's a genius player.

I've been to many a game over the last 20 years, but that 5-0 Huddersfield game was right up there with the best I've ever seen.

That SportKlub channel in Poland had Bristol Rovers v Saints on it in the FA Cup on the Friday night a couple of years ago, can't get anything via the link though.
