  1. Saints related because it's about this site, but why does my iPad say it's 23.08 (which is right) but the post will be timed at 22.08, annoying on match thread more than anything.
  2. Just done my golf day at East Horton whereby we usually raise money for the Piam Brown ward in Southampton. A bunch of hairy arsed plumbers playing rubbish but putting their hands in their pocket. Anyway, I have donated personally to Franny's cause, but after seeing the YouTube video tonight, I am going ask all those who came today, mostly Saints fans whether they would object if I switched the cause to his fundraising, because what he is doing deserves more. Clearly the Piam Brown ward is more than a worthwhile cause but what this great man is doing is not being supported enough. hopefully I can get the nod to send £1275 your way Franny.
  3. It looks it initially but apparently the sponsorship goes up as he nears the end, though you have to say a million looks miles away, maybe it was an optimistic target perhaps? he had a tough day yesterday, see Echo (fair play to their coverage) but really Matty should be using his influence at Sky to get this cause promoted.
  4. Thats a good shout, not my strong point but here goes; Benali, whoooooaa, Benali As true as a Saint can be He ****ing hates Pompey Benali, whoooooa, Benali i think you know that tune, maybe our own Leornard Cohen can contribute.... Turkish to to the main board please.
  5. This should be a sticky Mr Grant, if your forum football team requests are worth that, or Turkish trying to tell us how right he was, blah, blah, ****ing blah, then what this guy is doing, under our name basically, then I can't se why you can't promote this cause?
  6. Because everyone seems more transfixed with old players and old managers, talking in circles. i donated last nights so I can watch Franny come home at the Newcastle game with a clear conscience. this guy is genuinely a legend, not just because of his desire and love of playing for us, not because he said that he would play for anyone if he had, except Pompey, he,s a legend because he is genuinely a really top guy. Met him plenty of times, always chats, always seems genuinely interested in what you are saying not just going through the motions etc. top bloke, severely hot Mrs, for people of my age anyway (the first wag I remember, had a major crush on Karen) and out of respect I won't comment on his daughter! please donate what you can, even if it's 50p, cracking cause for a cracking mush.
  7.
  8. This.. We've gone from a ruthless dislikable dictator creating a great team, back to the family run club that want s everyone happy, with a **** team. know which I preferred.
  9. ..... another positive..
  10. Clearly you are one of those that was disappointed his first touch in the game didn't give him a fairytale finish. i guess from your username that you weren't there, but to have his name constantly sung every time he was spotted on the pitch, the warm up, the sub warm up, coming on, went straight at the end but I guess he got the red carpet treatment then too. Just way over the top, pathetic display from some of our fans.

  12. I am a big fan of. SRL, and don't begrudge him a nice round of applause, even a round of "One Rickie Lambert...." Not that I would join in on that, a clap maybe but not a song. Unfortunately it seemed like most disagreed at Anfield today. ****ING cringeworthy, we were supposed to supporting our team and the biggest song was for an opposition player, ****ing ridiculous, ****ing pathetic and people should think about who they should be singing about.. Just way over the top, bunch of touristy muppets.

  16. So what's the 'project' now? Staying in the PL? Great, just the same as 15 other teams then.

  18. Yes, like most other teams.
  19. Strange to see you on a thread about something, haven't you got any more ideas for songs?
  20. Can someone remind me; is this Turkish (after a disastrous copier paper sales meeting) or is it Alpine getting his laptop away before the Austrian Police turn up?
  21. AHHH, beat me to it!
  22. Thats simply not true, Tim Flowers referred The name Razor to me back then
  23. Maybe I was at a different meeting? The one at the Captains Corner as I remember was attended by a very few, namely Nick and Clive, think Al Scarffe was there and Bob Smith ( a really sound guy, still is), maybe Rich Green, bit of an Ugly mob, not sure Perry was too involved back then but might be wrong, I remember it being about 8 of us, discussed the Branfoot issue and came up with the Red card idea that Mattys partly ruined after the Newcastle game on Sky! maybe I'm mistaken, maybe there was another one there, maybe I was just so overjoyed to be part of the saints fans' incrowd and didn't notice anyone else, too impressionable back then, lol. did a bit of a speech myself at Hulse Road against the fat skate Telegraph reporter Robert Hardyman, happy days.
  24. You were there in The Captains Corner? You sure? We're you at Oasis at The Joiners too? Or Nirvana at The Guidhalll?
  25. That would be the pony that got us to eighth?
