Play offs - another day at Wembley - not all bad.
-
do we need a drum - no
-
Agreed - as do probably 80% of the fans - unfortunately the idiots are louder than the silent majority.
-
Took a mate saturday who is a QPR fan. thought the variety of songs and the constant singing was excellent and far superior to QPR _ who are top of the Championship. Surely the noise and atmopshere are the main things provided we support the team and are not racist?

I think I will put my faith in Nigel Adkins as he is a proven Manager who has managed in the 2nd tier of the best Leagues in the world. His judgement must be worth more than most people who post on here - unless someone here has managed at a higher level? As for KD I admire his work rate, his commitment to the club (could have gone to West ham), his captaincy (must mean something when 2 managers or was it 3 make him captain) and on Saturday I will get behind him and the team that is on the pitch.

For the 1st time yesterday I thought he looked quality. I would like him to stay and sod the money. Fed up with missing out on watching our best players play here- apart from Le tiss of course - what a legend.
-
But he is quality
-
Never liked us since he missed that penalty in 04

If anyone has a spare ticket I would like to buy it. I have used my membership and my daughter's so I have got our 2 but then I foolishly told my wife there were 4,000 tickets left and would she like one as well!!! The ticket office will not sell me anymore because of the 1 ticket per database membership rule. Thanks

In spite of all efforts to come up with something witty I fear we will go the same way as last season against pompey when we asked for "F -off Pompey" and instead we got "Pay up pompey" which everyone thought was them singing.

I am in concourse at the moment. Hot drinks and pastries for sale. Just serving ticket 390 I am 512. About 100 behind me in Q.

Having seen a few games by Walcott, a just a handful from Gareth Bale I would definitely NOT want to sell AOC. It's players like these that make watching the Saints worthwhile and I don't want to see them at other clubs (sitting on the bench usually)
-
Friday 14th - What did he say this morning on Radio Solent about AOC? Something to do with "not sure what his goal celebration was all about - perhaps he was impersonating a Liver bird?", Very funny guy, and sounds like a good man manager as well.
-
Gutted - but at least when the next bid goes in we can have SMS ready instead of b----y Argyle, what a joke that would have been!
-
Never heard a saints fan described as a glory hunter before?
-
Were you sitting on the Arch or the roof?
-
Yep, that's the place. Made me applaud Adam even more. Some fans....
-
he was staying at the solent Hotel in whiteley for quite a while. met him up there a couple of times and he was a really good guy. More than happy to pose for pics, sign shirts, chat to the kids etc. Throw in his charity work as well and he is an all round top bloke almost up to kelvin's class. I would be happy to speak to him in West Quay and have some good banter. St Matty

Had to laugh at that - especially when radio Solent tried to minimalise it by saying it was said in the heat of the moment!! no way - he meant it. Well said Adam and well played. Sadly some idiots near me were moaning at him the whole game - who do they want? Ronaldo? St Matty

There are 6,000 tickets left and no q at SMS - so no need to panic.
-
well at least Avram has shored up their defence
-
I expect more people at SMS tonight than down the road - having just read this on a skate site; PFC _ There are plenty of tickets available for the game priced £20 for adults, £10 for seniors, young persons and students (with NUS card) and £5 for juniors.
-
can't work today for laughing at this St matty

I couldn't make Tuesday night but an Argyle friend of mine went and he said it was like watching a premiership game. And trust me, he has no love for the Saints! IMO we are slowly getting there and the fact that 20,000 were there on a Tuesday night singing the whole game shows that the majority of fan have long memories plus realistic aims for the future.

Will always have the highest regard for Antti. He must still live down here. I hope any performances for pompey are similar to the last time I saw him there
