  1. That’s because they are shit scared of us
  2. From where I was I heard him scream in agony. I’m not entirely sure what happened but he got a big shove in the back and his leg(s) seemed to jar as he was trying to resist be shoved into touch.
  3. I can also see a strong case for not dignifying it with a response. I was riveted whilst listening to it as it tapped into the collective mood, but on reflection it was an absolutely classless and shameful personal attack.
  4. That’s the other pissed uncle who’d been on the gin all day.
  5. We are better than them, I can’t see a problem. Looking forward to the semis.
  6. Got a good feeling about Everton, we are better away, and as you say the pressure is on them.
  7. What are the exact words to the Westwood song, anyone care to enlighten me, without breaking any libel laws?
  8. I was behind him until Forest, like a lot of us I was very angry the way it panned out. If he turns things round, or shows signs of turning things round I’ll be fully back on side. However, I feel there are so many that have taken up an entrenched hostile position against him he will always have the sword of Damocles hanging over him. I’m not worried how we do it, (style of play), I just want us to stay up. I don’t think we have a side that will do well in the championship, I know many do, I think we would have a few years of struggle should we drop. Better to rebuild without being relegated.
  9. That will do everyone the world of good.
  10. Straight through baz
  11. I suspect Stu has had a bit to say, I don’t think he’s one to suffer fools and we’ve had our fair share of those. Hopefully he’s not off.
  12. Makes sense, MLG and TWAR disappeared just before Jones started, maybe their extraordinary talents have been harnessed by the club?
  13. If Jones is staying, then it feels like two words colliding. It is feasible the movers and shakers see as a solution to keep Jones in place, but it could read both ways? In summary, I have no clue what the plan is.
  14. You can’t fault my delusional blind optimism! I’m going, so I’ll be sure to let them know not to make me look foolish, that should do it Apart from my delusion, my point was if Lampard is still there it could be every bit as toxic for them as it was at sms on Wednesday
  15. Hi shone in the Europa league finals and run up to that, that's probably what caught our eye, unfortunately he appears not to give a crap when playing for us.
  16. Very harsh with half his star players injured, but he'd be great for us if he could be persuaded, which I doubt.
  17. I don't know, Everton have their own issues, the pressure will be on up there. We have been much better away from home and the SAints fans that are there will give a more positive support than the SMS crowd.
  18. So you could say it’s half wank? Let’s say the first half, before an interruption, therefore totally unsatisfactory.
  19. Interesting to see that Sterling let his five year old daughter do his hair
  20. Im not saying I'm right, I just get the impression Ankerson is pulling the strings, add to that we started the season with a five, which Ralph soon abandoned, only to have Jones come in and rigidly stick to a failed system.
  21. I keep saying it, based on nothing other than a hunch, that the 3 CBs is a Rasmus diktat.
  22. I don’t know if anyone has mentioned it but they had a journalist on TalkSPORT this morning talking about Everton, apparently they wanted Ings on loan but apparently Villa are only interested in selling.
  23. I don’t think they have become bad players, it’s the circumstances we find ourselves in, the atmosphere became hostile and toxic last night, I get why that is, but I think they were paralysed with fear. I didn’t like Ralph’s two man midfield, when it went wrong it went badly wrong and left the defenders very exposed. Somehow the midfield had become even more dysfunctional under Jones, there were multiple occasions when there were absolutely no of the midfielders showing for the ball, hence the sideways, backwards and hoof it we saw so often, and also getting caught in possession. Back to Stephens, he foes have strength of character and probably wouldn’t have been so badly affected by the atmosphere last night, and wouldn’t have been backward in calling the other gutless wimps out.
  24. Stephens would improve us at the moment
