I think he’s here for his PL development, a mutually beneficial arrangement for both clubs. He should really give us the lift we need. But you never know, he may want to stay, Liverpool may move on, we may find some cash. I’m pretty chuffed about it and will hopefully enjoy the ride.

Think it’s more likely that Klopp and Liverpool see us as the ideal club and environment for him to improve and develop

Well he can replace Redmond for starters, Theo if he wasn’t crocked. You’d have to fit him in, he’s a game changer for our turgid attack.

JWP has had mixed fortunes at right back, yes he did well against Zaha but that’s as much because he gets inside his head. JWP has no pace, and definitely no change of pace. He makes a mediocre full back, but combined this with his absence and influence from midfield I felt it significantly weakened the team. I’d have felt more comfortable if Valery had played, JWP in the middle and played Diallo in front of Valery instead of Redmond or Walcott. Thought it was a strange set up, despite the controversy I thought we looked all over the place and yet again very blunt in attack. Just an opinion...

I was wondering if Redmond could transition to full back. He seems to be finished as a winger / wide attacker but he doesn’t mind getting stuck in.

Totally agree with everything you said. Been saying it for a few weeks. All the planets aligned for our good run, it was never sustainable.

I would still have preferred him at rb to JWP last night, seemed to unbalance the whole team.

Better by his low standards, but really poor in comparison to most other top half pl wide atacking players.
