  1. I think he will, I was worried when he was so upset by conceding two goals against Iran when we had scored six, I thought he might prioritise not conceding, which we just about did. I detest the man.
  2. Think that’s a given.
  3. Bueno
  4. To be fair he probably read your post as you didnt care if we went down, which is how I read it on my initial quick scan.
  5. Can't see those two sticking around very long. ABK will have caught the eye of much bigger clubs already and isn't Salissu dicking around over a new contract?
  6. To be fair our fans were excellent at Liverpool on Saturday, they / we seem right behind NJ
  7. Wolves have Netto and Jiminez to come back, plus a new manager appointed They still have a lot of talent. Bournemouth don't look that bad to me.
  8. I hope not, but I feel the years of under investment and / or , transfer market smart- arsery have caught uo with us, whether we can fix that in the next transfer window remains to be seen.
  9. There weresome great players in that squad. I really liked Marsden.
  10. I'd now prefer it if the uber rich clubs effed off to their super league along with their fake fans. The PL has become a bit pointless for those who aren't backed by gazillionaires or states.
  11. Just looked at the squad for that season !!!
  12. My70’s trip was on a Foley coach as well!. We were massively outnumbered by those loveable little scallywag rascals.
  13. Well I'm going tomorrow, 3rd time for me to Anfield. The first time probably around 79 / 80, we woz robbed, and I took a real beating in Stanley Park afterwards (I think most people did that day, there were only a couple of hundred Saints fans there), plus the coach got bricked. Second time was when Shane Long scored the cracker (video above). I'm hoping tomorrow is more like my last visit and not like they first! I'm also looking forward to see NJ make his mark on the team, after my initial shock I'm really warming to the bloke.
  14. I 100% agree with your assessment. If NP can sort out Ralph's shambolic and dysfunctional midfield midfield we'll be halfway there. I also think JWP would have left in Jan had Ralph stayed, I noticed at the end of the Bournemouth game Ralph (who only ever appeared on the pitch after a rare victory) , tried to give JWP an embrace and JWP literally turned away and shrugged him off. No love lost tere I think.
  15. and last season
  16. That would get you 33.333 weeks of Theo!
  17. That's a massive sweeping generalisation, I am glad to see the eback of Ralph, I don't think anyone is expecting a bounce, just arresting the decline is sufficient, and grinding out enough points to keep us up.
  18. It might be easier to determine who he wouldn't like, I'd say Aribo is the laziest player I have seen in a Saints shirt in a long time, along with Diallo and Walcott are my guess. I don't know what he'll make of Djnepo, I don't even know what I make of Djnepo! I think they are quite an honest bunch, just laking a coupe of key players to bring it all together.
  19. dont play awful, route one football - I don't care as long as we stay up - let’s not completely lose all of the progress we have made in this project so far. What progress, what project? we are absolutely terrible and were in terminal decline, hopefully he can arrest that decline and re build something! don’t bring god into every interview - if that's who he is and what he believes, so be it. Don’t bang the club crest at least immediately. It seems fake. Let’s learn about each other and hopefully we might like each other eventually. I doubt he cares much, you can't make being liked a priority if you want to achieve anything, it's a "nice to have", not an essential. He's not David Brent
  20. You can still buy online and print at home
  21. This forum doesn't necessarily represent the consensus of Saints fans at large.
  22. I'm going to burn my underpants.
  23. I voted yes on the assumption it's a done deal, I cannot see how we benefit from turning against him before he has had a chance to show what he can do. My first choice, given our situation, would be Dyche, but that would attract just as much negativity.
  24. I did initially, but I don't now. He might be the rough diamond breath of fresh air we need
  25. Thanks for that input, can I ask how you have drawn that conclusion, it seems to come from a position of direct knowledge, do you follow Luton?
