There is lots of chatter regarding 40% pay cuts for relegation. I find it hard to believe there is a blanket clause across the squad reflecting this. How can anyone be sure JWP is subject to this, or how anyone would know what's in an individual contract outside the player, his agent and a select few within the club? Or am I missing something?

My recollection of Tella was he looked quite promising, scored a goal, got a long term injury, came back into a struggling side and Ralph played him at centre forward where he didn't do verywell ( I was away for that game, so didn't witness it personally). That last appearance at CF after a LT injury seems to have tainted a lot of peoples views, in my opinion.

I get no satisfaction from witnessing developing talent which other teams will ultimately benefit from, and that’s for the 1 in 10 or whatever that actually work out. I’d like to see a few old dogs of war in the team that are committed to us for what remains of their careers, players I feel I can have some kind of connection with, unlike the bunch of arrogant little pricks we have been signing recently. That’s assuming it isn’t Saints cashing out? I guess they need to raise some cash from player sales, it’s always the unfortunate reality that the players we would like to stay are our most realisable assets.
