  1. If Forest win 8 - 0 they go above us
  2. They overlap by half an hour, so Brighton first then half hour of palace
  3. Yay! Go us! We are not the weakest team in the league!
  4. Should be an express term really, straightforward breach of contract. But my knowledge is basic and I’m not privy to the contract.
  5. I have total recall as well, I was laying in bed listening to the match Solent, then Liz Hurley crept into the room and starting touching me beneath the duvet, suddenly I realised my wife was asleep next to me, so i said Liz, stop, not now, the wife's here, come back tomorrow. She never did come back. But the day wasn't lost as I was later recruited by the SAS to carry out a series of black ops, I had to turn them down as I had a busy week at work and a bit of a sniffle, but I appreciated the gesture. I definitely don't remember any booing.
  6. Is he not retiring now?
  7. No there won't be a clause, but there would be an implied term that you can actually carry the duties for which you are employed, to the required level. He is clearly too proud to resign and probably thinks he can turn it around still, so yes, in that sense the decision should be made for him.
  8. He sort of has dishonoured it as he falls way short of the standard he is being paid handsomely for.
  9. Or, it confirms you are TWAR? You also got a frowny face from "the king if frowny faces", AKA MLG, or was that subterfuge?
  10. Guardiola isn't a good example, he would definitely struggle with our squad limitations. I think this is one area Ralph is hopeless, he tries to get a team to do more than they are capable of, particularly when we went through the high press burnout phase, I still think he tries to be too clever. A better example would be Sean Dyche, he can get a mob performing at a level above the sum of the parts. I would have Dyche in a heartbeat, I understand a lot wouldn't, but that may change when we are starting to get cut adrift. Before anyone points out he got relegated, or as good as, he had little investment 3 seasons and and injury crisis to deal with.
  11. Another day he would have had a hatful. I was in the chapel, quite close to the action, he’s a unit, would bring others into play.
  12. He, or someone like him, would transform us.
  13. They are more like boiling frogs for those not familiar with the syndrome I lifted this from wiki The boiling frog is an apologuedescribing a frog being slowly boiled alive. The premise is that if a frog is put suddenly into boiling water, it will jump out, but if the frog is put in tepid water which is then brought to a boil slowly, it will not perceive the danger and will be cooked to death. The story is often used as a metaphor for the inability or unwillingness of people to react to or be aware of sinister threats that arise gradually rather than suddenly.
  14. I thought we looked much better when he came on yesterday, I agree he hasn't been himself recently, but I'm hoping he's a bit fitter and less fatigued after the internationals.
  15. I would have Aribo publicly executed at the Bargate after his "walking football" performance yesterday. Unless he was carrying an injury, in which case a day in the stocks will have to suffice. Stu has to be in there, I'd still pick Elyounoussi, save Edozie for later in the match.
  16. No. they were cordoned with black mesh either side of the barrier
  17. I'll let you off, to be fair I've accused several posters of the same thing, someone has to crack!
  18. Not stupid, just literal, you remind me of someone who used to post a lot, then just disappeared? hmmm🤔
  19. I have to disagree, he should play every game, especially while Tino is out. He has often been scapegoated by Ralph, particularly after the 0 - 4 away to Villa last season, that wasn't down to him, that was down to the MIA midfield, and they have been playing that way ever since that match. I think our defence is the only part of the team that's at the required level, the suicidal narrow midfield exposes them badly at times. There was so much space out wide again yesterday, sometimes two and 3 man overloads, I'm surprised WHU didn't shred us, they probably would have done if they weren't suffering a Europa hangover.
  20. I was listening to TSP this morning and it was suggested that Joe Shields was the person responsible for leaking all the inside info, if that was the case, why wasn't he sacked? Unless it came to light after his decision to leave?
  21. Think it was a joke, old bean
  22. Or collectively rabbits in the headlights, which is just as bad
  23. I just learned whu didn’t have a regular cb in their lineup
  24. To be fair it was a much bigger game.
  25. He absolutely took the piss yesterday, he should have been hooked at half time for Stu. I think he started the season ok, and therefore got quite a few fans on side, so far I think he’s our weakest signing. Part of the reason we couldn’t get out of our own half yesterday was he was just floating around and not offering an outlet, AA ran himself into the ground but instead of changing things before the inevitable equaliser he waited until it was too late. Do we ever see strategic substitutions, I feel they are always reactive?
