Done his cruciate...get well soon Sam, huge shame https://www.mfc.co.uk/news/team-news-sam-mcqueen-set-for-lengthy-lay-off

Interestingly we're 6th favourites to go down behind Cardiff, Newcastle Huddersfield Burnley and Fulham. https://www.oddschecker.com/football/english/premier-league/relegation I think having watched us, and the fixtures we've had already, we'll be lucky to stay up.

IMO we either start him, or we let him go and further his career elsewhere. We definitely have a place for him, just not in 442. I'd play a 4-3-3 and have Hojbjerg holding and him and Lemina either side (JWP on on the right so he can cross it in). He has good energy, work rate, great delivery and gets stuck in. He deserves a chance to play, he was progressing quite nicely under Puel.

Can't help but think that list is largely nonsense.
-
Probably not even going to watch it. we wont even compete.

Was such a strange infatuation from our fans.

Hoedt's arguably been our best player the last two games, he's not the problem. -

Gabbiadini is crap. -

Bloody hate 442, especially when one of your strikers is as bad as Austin. We cannot get hold of the ball and dominate possession in the midfield with just Lemina and Hojbjerg. We have played some really poor teams who are comfortable knocking the ball around with us putting no pressure on the ball as we just don't have enough players in there. We're at the point IMO where we need to change it up and try something different rather than playing the same old crap way every week. -

Difficult as our midfield seems so poor when we play 2 in there. I'd like to see something like: ----------------Hojbjerg------------------ --------Lemina----------JWP------------- Elyounoussi----------------------Redmond ------------------Ings--------------------- Redmond seems to be more effective off the left, and JWP adds more energy into the midfield. -
I'd be starting JWP personally.
-
i'd have been tempted to start Sims if he was here....shame...give us a bit of pace and running.
-
Well we have 6 from 9 games. We have 10 games against "top 6" oppo which largely ends up with 0 points. So we have 19 games to get 32 points from.... 7 wins = 21 points 8 draws = 10 points 4 losses = 0 points That gets us to 37 points....worrying...! Likelihood of us winning 7 more games this season?!
-
I think I'd go... McCarthy Cedric Stephens Hoedt Bertrand Lemina (If fit) Hojbjerg Redmond Armstrong Elyounoussi Ings Potentially swap Armstrong for Long and play 442 or for Gabbi and play Gabbi in the hole.
-
Why would you not play our best goalscorer (Ings) closest to the other goal?
-
Hopefully

Massive liability but also a potential match winner - they have a threat there's no doubt about that, but they might be one of the only teams with less confidence than us. We should win, but who knows, could easily be another bore draw 0-0/.
-
Frustrating, especially as getting to Wembley is a real faff. Would have liked to be the first team to win at their new stadium after being the last team to win at White Hart Lane! Will probably still go though.
-
Happy to give him time, seems to be more solid, but nowhere near as good as Tadic. Still no idea why we let Tadic go, especially for the same price as a mid table Championship player.
-
Surely there should be a bigger demand for this one than the Chelsea game? 1. It's cheaper 2. More chance of winning

Manolo Gabbiadini: Joins Sampdoria - Official

He's better than Austin (not difficult). I wouldn't be adverse to him playing off the right, or in behind Ings. Think he's a better player playing deeper.
