Yeah - I can't see Bertrand starting Sat tbh, but fingers crossed he's almost there...may be about the time of the transfer window closing... I'd have JWP instead of Lemina probably at the moment, I don't really want to watch Lemina going through the motions for 90 minutes again ideally, despite him probably being the better player.

Very young and inexperienced and his performance was promising, but not yet anywhere near ready for first team football IMO. Valery is better than him for sure, but lets not forget that Ramsey has only recently turned 18 (October). Thought Johnson looked decent apart from a bit rash with various challenges, clearly not a left back at the moment. Some nice balls into the box. Slattery looked the most un-phased, thought he slotted in nicely, and certainly didn't look out of his depth. Promising and it's great these boys are getting a chance in the first team squad - they'll be learning every week.

Carillo doesn't even get a mention he was so bad.

TBF, Long was a decent little player under Koeman without being outstanding.

Thought he did well Sat - and now Hojbjerg has a fight to get back into the side, and you could also argue that Lemina is now surplus to requirements... An area to keep an eye out for, but great to see JWP stepping up when he's been needed to. Fair play.

Personally if I go, I'll probably go up on the Friday and stay with a mate in Manchester, do a night out on Sat in Manchester and then back home Sunday. Timings are a real pain for this.

Not even sure even counting the crap spending and the manager compensation how we have no money to spend. We have basically been running at a profit for the last 5 years, other clubs out spend us and carry on out-spending us with lesser revenues. Either other clubs are massively overspending, or we have money leeking out of the club somewhere; probably into Gao's pockets.

A bit random. Would make more sense if we had two keepers that were struggling, but we're pretty strong in that department. Maybe the club think the only way we can get anyone else to buy him, is to put him in the shop window.
