Would expect him to play. Cole always seems to cause us problems...not sure who I'd rather played. I guess it depends how the game goes. With Vaz Te, Diame, Jarvis and Cole they have pace to cause us problems on the break. Carroll has the touch of a rapist.

Interesting for you maybe...really quite dull and repetitive for the rest of us. I respect your opinon that you think we should have got him back in 2004, but to keep going no about it in 2013 is just quite frankly boring.

He was manager over 10 years ago. Get over it! This is the West Ham Build up thread...whats it got to do with this game? It's worked out for the best in the end so who cares.
-
Not had mine...!
-
I always thought he was pretty good, wasn't he nailed on to go to Newcastle for the last few years...?
-
It will probably be Welbeck
-
But they didn't go into admin...

Never been convinced with Arshavin. He's clearly talented but just never looks bothered. Not sure he's fit in the hard working philosophy.
-
Would be decent backup for cork and Morgan.
-
Morgan and Shaw, Lambert unlucky not to win it, but Morgan has been immense.
-
His mum's stopped doing all his washing for him or something....he is a right little moaner on Twitter.
-
The Norwich, Swansea, Fulham, Stoke, Wigan games were all 'dropped points'. Fulham away You could argue that we expected to lose to Man Utd, City, and Everton.
-
Only that bit from what I've heard. Still gobsmacked that Morgan doesn't have his name sung. Even if it's the sh!ttest song ever normally soem get their name sung !
-
Jay Rodriguez has one. the Luis Suarez song...(not like us to nick Liverpool songs )
-
Drew with Fulham at home ?
-
Pretty crazy how we weren't even bottom after 11 games with 5 points !
-
Thought this thread was going to be about David Connolly haha I'm sure there are a few clubs who have got relegated twice and then promoted back into the same division, but doubt it's happened with Premier League clubs. The only ones who have gone into Admin who have played in the premier league are Us, Pompey, Leeds, Palace, Coventry, Bradford, Ipswich, QPR, Barnsley, Derby....have I missed any!?
-
No I agree but we 'dominated possession' in our half and did bugger all with it.

After searching for 'best clubs in Southampton' on google, it sent me back to SaintsWeb!! Appreciate the post above by GB, I'm out on Saturday for a mates birthday and wondering whether there have been any changes since August 2011?

This. He's on a par with Redknapp.

All Fat Sam teams always crowd the keeper and used dirty tactics. Just something else that we have to deal with. Jos is going to need to have a good game and the team will have to make sure we keep the ball at every opportunity. Personally think his game could be decided on winning the second balls. We know the ball will be lumped to that fairy up top all game, but his touch is dreadful - Morgan and Cork are superb at just picking it off. Worth remembering last time we played them at their place, our team was... 31 Boruc 02 Clyne 03 Yoshida 05 Hooiveld Booked 06 Fonte 04 Schneiderlin Booked 08 S Davis (Ward-Prowse - 89' ) 20 Lallana 21 Guly 42 Puncheon (Mayuka - 65' ) 09 Rodriguez (Lambert - 65' ) Shaw will play, as will Cork and Lambert. 3 very important players for us this season. Ramirez might even start, although Lallana looked handy on Saturday and not sure Ramirez will be a able to perform in what will be a very physical game.
-
Lol. An ambition to break into the top 6 and we're talking about signing Phil Neville...
-
Lallana got booked there for diving in the 1-1 game, the same game where Billy Sharp 'dived'...
-
The sooner them and Stoke are relegated playing their 'brand' of 'football' the better.
-
Saints on the H/C - anyone else back them? You now have a dogs chance...

Because the bookies thought we'd do the worst out of the promoted teams. And having just logged on on my PC, I can see that there is gaps....they don't come out on my phone! Got to say I'm surprised that Swansea were given a 42 - the same as Norwich and West Ham and worse than Reading !
