Dreadful Manager IMO.

Based on what? I’m not sure Guardiola could do too much with the current lot. A team with no goal scorers will always struggle. I also, will never want us to lose so the manager gets sacked. Especially in such a big game. It’s highly likely we’ll get relegated anyway, unless we spend a load on money in Jan which let’s be honest, probably isn’t going to happen.

I’d probably stick the same team out as yesterday. Need more from AMN and Aribo especially though. Still no idea where the goals are coming from though.

Cheers that’s what U was thinking, as much as I hate Wetherspoons. Yup. We’re getting train to Eastleigh and going to get cabs straight to pub ideally. Having a bit of a day out, given the opportunities are so few and far between.

I think long term it is a good window, getting rid of a load of squad players not really good enough for the team, and replacing with a load of higher value, promising youngsters. With Gakpo it would have been an 8 or 9, but without a proper striker being brought in, it went from 8 to 5 very quickly. I was also expecting much more from AMN, and didn't think Romeu would be a huge miss as backup, especially as Lavia was fit at the time. I've barely seen AMN play for a few years though, fingers crossed he'll come good. I'd have also kept Redmond personally which was the case at the end of the window.

Let's be honest, he was probably asked about him not being fit, and he probably replied saying we shouldn't be relying on an 18 year old to win a game. Then boom, headline.

But the tactics haven't stayed the same? We've played at least 4 different formations so far this seasons. Some fans are having a go at him for changing too much. The bottom line is we probably have the weakest squad in the league, with a big hole in a key position. (ST). Mara looks a million miles away from being a premier league starter right now. Diallo & AMN look incapable of playing alongside JWP so far this season. There isn't many of our team that would get in many other sides. We've lost far too much experience from the squad, Romeu, Long, Redmond, Stephens, Bednarek, Forster all left this summer. (I'm not saying these players are good enough btw, it's just a huge amount of premier league experience out the door. Right now i'd probably put Long ahead of Mara and A Armstrong) There is no doubt that it's an incredibly tough job to be manager of Saints right now.

Personally don’t see Semmens lasting much longer.
