Think that one was done to death on the other pages.

I'd have Diame as an option in midfield, maybe Tomkins....apart from that...i'm struggling.
-
I think we will be considerably better off than them next season should we both stay up.
-
We have plenty of other players who can do that job 100 times better than Barnard. He's a L1 player at best, just like Seaborne. I liked him in L1 but time for him to leave.
-
Barnard in the premiership ?!?! Are you mental ?!
-
I didn't know you were such a celeb Phil !

Lambert starts for me. When we played there we went and played with essentially 5 up front. Was it Ramirez's first start? Seem to remember us playing Lambert and J-Rod pretty wide up front (think it was to counteract their attacking full backs), with Ramirez in a bit of a false 9 position centrally. and then Lallana left wing and Puncheon right wing. The most naive point of the season IMO. We're a lot more rigid now, but without losing too much of that flair. Would expect Lambert to start instead of J-Rod - although wouldn't be surprised if we went 442 with Ramirez left again.

No longer top 3 favourites to go down..

Hugely brave from TF if that is the case. Especially given their current position. Does seem to be **** or bust ! -
Be funny if Santon also leaves Newcastle. Any update on the Collocini story ?

Sounds like this one is dead in the water. Looks like we tried our best but he simply wasn't that interested about coming, and therefore we moved onto Forren.

Good, bye bye

Your most unexpected event of this season, so far?

Fonte and Puncheon for me as the most surprising. Cork/Lallana/Morgan/Lambert I was confident would make the step up, however Punch wsa written off and he's even got a few goals for us this season, and Fonte was a bit dodgy last season but has been superb this year after a few dodgy games at the start. Even that Arsenal game when we lost 6-1 I didn't actually think he played that badly. -
I'm really not sure how you manage to mess up every quote you do....!! Antonio is an average NPC player, nowhere near good enough for a team going for promotion or a prem side.
-
Not sure about the WHU QPR game. I guess a WHU win is best, though I think WHU are catchable...
-
Thought this would get announced late last night or early this morning. Didn't see it dragging on for another day. Let's hope he's met all the players already.
-
Antonio was never a good footballer. He was just quite quick and never gave up. His techinical ability and footballing brain was non existent.
-
Thank god for that. Was getting worried when he was making the bench, he is a L1 defender at best. Good riddance.
-
Thats about his level.
-
When he scored the Saints twitter feed said that that was his 98th !
-
Just hope he keeps his word and signs that contract. I'm not sure how legally binding his 'word' is! Especially if we get relegated!

Ha I was thinking this when I was watching it on a stream last night. Despite us having a lot of the ball in the first half, we didn't really cause them too many problems and they were incredibly clinical. When Ba's goal went in I couldn't help but thinking 'that'll be a fantastic acrobatic volley' if it was a Chelsea player, but if it was Rodriguez who had done that, it would have been a 'deflected effort'. It's what happens when you play against the top teams, if you manage to score its lucky, and if they do it's because they are so much better. And I see throwing away a result when it's your fault, i.e. a dodgy backpass or **** poor defending or something. Our first goal was down to some superb work from Clyne and a pinpoint delivery, and the second was a world class run from Shaw and a top finish.

Guly plays bad...worst player to ever play for us Gaston plays bad...he's had an off day but still done ok in flashes. Always going to be like this, it seems fashionable to hate Guly. Just imagine if the team got behind him and chanted his name, he might even score! Think he is a confidence player.
