Not too bad last few seasons to be fair. We had a more than good enough squad when we was in L1 just needed a couple of additions, and in the NPC last season we were tearing teams apart and didn't really need much....

Maybe the call was unsuccessful, or maybe we're trying to scare Brum into lowering their price.

Certainly brave to not be in for a keeper....

As much as I love him, and do think he's a cracking player, would have to say no. We need all our team to be pulling in the same direction, not someone wanting to be centre of attention.

Personally I think that we probably had Yoshida and Rhys Williams lined up, but then Williams got that knee injury and then didn't want to just bring in anyone on the final day, so didn't. Yoshi has turned out to be a very good player and we're lucky that neither him or Fonte have been injured or suspended. Other than that, every player (apart from Mayuka) we brought in in January has come in and done a decent job - and Mayuka has looked bright when he's played and gives us an alternative. Fact is that we were never going to bring in players on mega wages who have already peaked. We've clearly wanted to bring in players who we can shape to play the way we want to play, and grow into the lifestyle at the club. People were screaming about us not signing people like Boswinga and Benayoun, but the fact is there is zero value in that market. The players who we brought in in the summer will have only increased in value IMO apart from maybe J-Rod, but he'll stay with us next season if we go down anyway IMO.

Benayoun really isn't very good IMO. Not worth the money you'd have to pay for him.

We barely score for out of the box last season so id say its definitely something that has come in with NA.

Lallana has to play if fit. He's class. But it's good to have alternatives if Adam isn't working

De ridder probably back involved because Mayuka is off to the ACON.

Has been superb after a few shakey performances when he joined. Reads the game superbly!

Think we'll miss Cork in the middle if he starts at RB! Glad Boruc is in. Other than that pretty much strongest possible side.

Think the bottom half is better but the top is worse

It's stronger this year than it has been the last few IMO
