Good start -
I go to whatever games I can, and I'm sure there are plenty of others that do the same that cannot go every week. Although I agree that I think our attendances should be better than they have been this season, there are plenty of fans who don't live in Southampton, so it becomes horribly expensive and just not viable for plenty of fans.
-
I'm sure we have loads of fans that only go to 5/10 games a season. Why are you criticising them that they want to be there for this massive game? At the end of the day if money is tight and have other things to pay for in life then there is only so many games you can go to...and this will be chosen due to the size of the game. This is huge. Maybe Turkish, you are just loaded or incredibly lucky that you can go to every game throughout the season...or maybe you're just a keyboard warrior that doesn't actually go to games.

I brought this up up on here a few weeks ago in amongst another thread. I think he's a very intelligent player and fits very well into how we want to play. Billy is a cracking player and has been superb the last few weeks, but Connolly is a completely different option to Billy. Lee you could probably say we are missing him, but we didnt do badly at all before he signed.
-
I am hoping our game is far less nervracking as that one was !!

Devastated after everything this year and all the games i've been to, I won't be there this weekend. I will be in a pub with a load of non saints fans who couldn't give a **** about the result. COYS give them a song from me - sing extra loud !!
-
Build up thread ?
-
Why will they? Everyone knows it is a huge game for us tonight, but only if we end up getting up. We still will want to win on Saturday and we'll still be 2 points clear of West Hoof United.
-
Lost 1-0 I think
-
Do people REALLY think that Sky pay refs to be biased to make sure it goes to the final day ?! Are you for real !?
-
This is going to be another gay Southend mark II!!!

If we get promoted will we have bus tour around city?

Maybe we should go on a boat trip instead... -
Great shout, everyone should go as 'The Don'! Would be hilarious
-
They are also missing Cole and Maynard, along with McCartney and O'Brien I think.
-
Yer but when we had out blip, they should have gone above us by quite a few points, once they were top they should have stayed there, when they were at home and been able to put breathing space between them and 3rd, they didn't, and the other week at Bristol City they had to win and handed us 2nd (hopefully). Just the fact that we have also bottled it the last few weeks. WE WILL BE OK.
-
I am expecting a WHU win, but hoping they'll bottle it again like they have done all season.
-
Put a tenner 'free bet' when I signed up to a betting company on west ham to go up. If we dont go up, I win money, If we go up 2nd, then they might go up in the playoffs anyway. This essay is not getting done today !!
-
Trying to write an essay but literally cannot think about anything else at the moment. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE Leicester win!!! Although it will be great to go up by winning, I would take a Leicester draw or win all day long. COME ON LEICESTER !!!!!

Probably not far off the best champ XI to be fair

http://www.saintsfc.co.uk/page/NewsDetail/0,,10280~2744916,00.html Three Saints stars have been named in the PFA Championship Team of the Year. Kelvin Davis, Adam Lallana, and Rickie Lambert were all nominated by their fellow professionals for their individual and collective achievements in the current campaign. All three have appeared in over 40 games each this this season, making major contributions across the pitch in Saints' push for back-to-back promotions. Their displays of consistency and improvement have been no coincidence, with the trio also previously selected in League One Team of the Year with Saints. Davis, who has missed just one league game this season, with 17 clean sheets to his name, is in the Championship select for the second time in his career. His previous listing coming from a third placed finish in the division with Ipswich Town in 2005. Lallana has marked his second full season at this level with some outstanding performances to go with 12 goals in all competitions. He was also in last season's League One pick alongside Davis and three other Saints teammates. The division's current top scorer and the man already named as Player of the Year by League Managers up and down the country - Rickie Lambert, is the third Southampton representative in the side. His return of 27 league goals (31 in all comps) is a remarkable feat from his first ever season in the Championship. The trio were all in attendance at the PFA Awards held in London on Sunday evening to learn of their inclusions
