If this reporter had no previous with Saints then I would just ignore it as ********, but he was spot on about Sharp and I think a few other things as well. Very interesting to keep an eye on. I just cannot see us going and spending huge amounts of money, QPR showed that didnt really work last season whereas the building gradually that Swansea and Norwich did last season did.

No idea. We got a trophy last year for finishing 2nd though. Not sure why we don't get anything despite being the first of the losers.

Yep, I completely agree. Would be an incredibly strange decision by Cortese if he did do this. Successful clubs have stability, and we have the potential of that for a long time.

To be fair to that guy, he was first to know about the Billy Sharp deal. He certainly seems to have some links in Southampton. Fingers crossed we just let Adkins have a go, he could be our Alex Ferguson.

Thing is if we need him at any point of the season, he will get terrorised. You can see from this season that Harding is lower NPC level/High L1 standard

I've seen more of J-Rod and he looks class from what I've seen. Plus he's younger than Hooper.

Certainly need strengthening. Not convinced Hooper is the striker we need though, think I'd rather have J-Rod.

Sounds like a top bloke and a great guy to have around the place. Also seems like the joker of the pack. Glad he didnt play much this season though, as I think he would have been terrorised.

If Butterfield and Harding play quite a few games for us next year then we will be relegated. Simples.
