Might be - might also be a rich mans Che Adams, who knows ! He's a target man/focal point atleast. Got to give him a chance. Is it a huge gamble really? Armstrong has looked pretty awful this season and not even sure he gets in the first XI anyway as it stands. He can't play as a #9 on his own. The season is also petering out, so surely worth a gamble to try and get us into the playoffs? Doesn't look like that is going to happen regardless, but if it allows us to get more out of the 3 behind him, then surely that's a positive. Also, lets be honest, it's time to move Arma on, he's had 1 good season for us when he was playing RW in a really good attacking side. He hasn't shown that this season and looks completely out his depth in the premier league. Saying all of that, sounds like he's a top bloke and wish him all the best in his further career, but time to move on for everyone.

Funny thing is, that an ideal partner for Arma would probably be him! Look, it is what it is. Sounds like hes a focal point which we've all been crying out form he's strong and relatively quick supposedly. He's behind Stewart in the pecking order, but that's fine for now, he needs to come on and influence the game for the last half hour or so. Intrigued to see him play on Saturday. COYS

Playoffs is still there for someone to make a late charge IMO, as unlikely as it is. But I've said the same thing, or they're have had a striker through the door for the 1st game in Jan. Think they've settled for staying up, and go again next season. Big risk

I think we'd be a good move for him, and likewise the other way around. Rumours of all parties wanting to terminate that loan deal. Seems a bit like Delap, in that it seems like it would be a good deal for all parties to come to saints, but probably wont happen then he'll be linked with top clubs in a few seasons time.

They got relegated from the premier league...I didn't saw theyre top premier league players. and the squad was also appalling for that league. Doesnt meant they're bad players in the championship. And are you really counting the likes of Juric, Rusk, Still ?! Who are the other managers we've had ?

Personally think with the right manager in charge, then they'd get the best out of Downes/THB. They were top championship players a few seasons ago. All this "they're bad from the dressing room" seems like made up rubbish to me.... Think it's more representative of where the club has been over the last few years.

Arma's best position is still off the front, he struggles to play as a 9 Our best front 4 is probably Scienza, Fellows, Stewart, plus one of Azaz/Arma/Robinson. If Stewart isn't fit/firing, we are buggered.

West Ham have supposedly put a bid in for him last night/today... From the chatter they dont seem to want to pay much more than £30m so will be interesting. Can't see us selling for less than £50m + a sell on of some sort. Also some rumours of JWP maybe returning as part of the deal, but he's also just been made VC at West Ham so would seem unlikely.
