  4. Well, TBH we've have been a bit naughty this time around TTV. We decided to treat ourselves to a few treats and told them that we are gonna do a few 'home improvements' so released a bit of equity to pay for them. Don't worry, we can afford it as we've done better than we thought we would, amazing really considering the fact that we CAN NOT afford to move at the moment. And no, I am not talking ******, as sure as there are losers, there are always winners too when markets crash The best scenario plan was to move this year and be mortgage free, but, hey ho, life's a ***** and all that. Make hay while the sun shines I say. The deal we got did attract a fee, but due to circumstances beyond our control we had no choice but to pay a fee. That fee is £499, which I tried very hard to get them to drop. However, we decide to add the fee to the mortgage to guarantee that our repayments don't send us both back into full time work. GOLDEN RULE 1 is that you (within reason) can not put a price on 'peace of mind'. If you want any more details PM me, but in all honesty it really isn't that hard to track the deals down. GOLDEN RULE 2 - Whoever you are borrowing from, is borrowing it from someone else, who is borrowing it from someone else ad infinitum. Just track the deal back to the REAL lender, and do the deal with them direct. There are probably people out there reading this, and thinking, there's better deals out there. We HAVE to sign something by the end of the month, hence - this is the best deal for us right now. Anyone PM me, ad I'll send you an absolutely priceless, impartial pdf guide. You need to follow it to the letter, and it WILL save you money next time you renew. That is all H
  5. One day all these countries, nations and people who have benefited so much by our intrusion, will undoubtedly reap the rewards of capitalism too. Blaming each other for all the problems in the world, when the only real problem is the dissolution of their communities. We **** up our own communities and project the frustration onto others, ignoring the fact that we have **** on our own doorstep. Lucky bastards! I bet that they can't wait to know what it's like to be greedy selfish arseholes like we are. Why the hell do we feel that our way of living is so superior to theirs? We 'aint that bleedin' clever, we just think that we are. FFS why can't people mind they're own business and just be content with travelling through life at a nice slow enjoyable pace, rather than telling others how they should go about it. Makes me seethe, it really does! Racism just ain't Saintly H
  6. No, just an hour early according to ss

  17. Should that not be, as a Welshman, living in England, supporting an English team, who also speaks Tamarian..?
  18. Should that not be 5.2k miles away? I am assuming LV = Las Vegas.
  19. I have always thought that we (the country as a whole) would have done well under John Smith. His passing was a real shame. We may even have started being nice to each other again. Obama, has that rare quality which is hard to actually put your finger on, but he just seems so honest and genuinely sincere. If he delivers, or at least tries his darndest to deliver, then I reckon that we may well find someone enter our stage, right out of the blue but of a similar mould. We are just so used to having a procession of untrustworthy soundbite merchants put in front of us. Maybe the world is ready for change now, maybe we are entering a whole new era of jaw jaw, and not war, war (you heard that here first, write it down). Also, the way in which BNP have been 'outed' this week, could be a sign that we are all fed up with people being horrible to each other. They may have a legal right to stand for elction, and have the right to privacy. All the joking aside, people are laughing at them in the main because of their ridiculous blinkered racist views. What a bunch of morons. If someone were to challenge me on this view I will not enter debate, as anyone who does not 'get it', is not worthy of my time. Anyway, Racism just ain't Saintly - FACT
  20. Rorwell, it isn't that big a mortgage to be honest, but this time last month, we thought we were gonna get really stung. After three years, we are planning to downsize and hopefully have NO mortgage. It's part of a 5 year plan that we have, and fingers crossed, so far so good. I wouldn't necesarily say that we've been lucky in property, but we have definitely made some good moves. We are both part time already following our last move, so if I can be mortgage free before I reach my half-century I will be pretty chuffed with my lot.
  21. Surely that can't be the first time that you've heard that urban myth?
  22. That gives me an idea for a new thread. Uh, hang on a mo.
  23. I am off to pub tonight to congratulate myself on securing new mortgage rate of 4.94% fixed for 3 years, that is good I reckon. I know there may be slightly better rates in the mainstream market, but our needs are a bit more complicated, hence, I am happy to sign. Unless of course - as Esther would say - you know different.
  24. Good Luck. What are you going to see? How about something scary so you can be chivalrous.
  25. Tesco petrol can work out 4p cheaper if you get the clubcard points and trade them up for deals. Often making them the cheapest around. I get weekly e-mails from this site http://www.petrolprices.com/ but as I say, usually fill up at Tesco (Twyford Road is often the chepest around any way).
