  1. I could help out with a full team Pink kit, if needed.
  2. Ormerod is a nice guy and I was pleased for him at the weekend, but let's not kid oursleves with false nostalgia. He was rubbish, bordering on woeful for Saints. In answer to the OP, even if it was Woggy vs Ormerod ..... I'd take Woggy.
  3. I'm fairly confident it is us and if he plays like he did last game of the season, he is more than welcome.
  4. Thanks DSM. I was there and it was pure magic. Add to that, the fact that Stam was one of the worlds best defenders at the time, makes it all the more impressive.
  5. BTF, as noble as your quest to support the hard done by workers of the world is, the reality remains, that BA continue to lose millions of pounds by the day, as well as the confidence of it's client base and simply will not survive much longer. If the reserves were there to carry them through a sustained period of loss making, it might be argued that time, would re-build the customers faith, however, based on previous history, I think we can assume that it wouldn't be too long before the rebel rousers had them back on strike for one thing or another. The public outrage and disgust at this strike, should tell you all you need to know about the validity of this strike. Many people died and were persecuted, fighting for the rights and freedom we enjoy today. This strike isn't about standing up for those rights, it's about abusing them. I think it might all be to late and the damage already done. And if BA does go bust, when those people lucky enough to find new jobs, next cast their vote on striking, becuase the company cut back on double quilted toilet paper, I hope they remember what they did before.
  6. I have emailed Peter Storrie and asked him if would like to make a guest statement , in recognition of the million views.
  7. Best guess - We were looking at a smart card system, want a smart card system, but havent been able to get the deal we want or the right commercials. Left it as long as they can to try and do something this year, but will now shelve it until next year, leaving us with some crappy cardboard cut out and will release new pricing details this week.
  8. There's an interview with Pahars in the pink this week; Half decent read, talking about his love for Saints fans, the club and the area. Follows us on the internet and wants us to get back to the prem, so he can watch us on telly. He is coaching at Skonto Riga and hopes to come back here in the future. I'll never forget his last time at St Mary's when the Saints fans said goodbye, one of only 3 times that football caused a lump in my throat. Pards if you ever need a new coach have a look at this guy, if he is half as good at coaching as he is at nutmeging Jaap Stam, then were onto a winner.
  9. PS won't be charging them much, if anything at all. The safest place for him right now, is in amoungst the action. He needs to know who his friends are, what is being said, what info is being requested by the authorities and which parties are siding with who. The killer for him will be not knowing when that knock on the door will happen; next week, next month, next year???? The only thing he can be sure of, is that it will be coming.
  10. The most salient figure is that BA are losing over 500 million a year. It doesn't take spin to work out that that can't happen again. As for the Union and future decisions, they are single handedly ensuring there wont be a future for BA staff to worry about
  11. Steve as you say the whole leveraged buy is a completely different kettle of fish, which it is, but the big difference with Man Utd and pompey, is that Utd fans were sceaming blue murder from day one. The world and his wife knew who bought pompey from Mandric and where the money had come from to finance it. Yet that was fine and dandy and nothing ever said or questioned. If you take the emotion out of it being pompey, then of course you start feeling a bit sorry for them, but for such wonderful fans, you would have thought the questioning and finger pointing, should have started about 3 years ago.
  12. Nick, I confidently predict a world of pain is around the corner for them. I still can't work out what Baloo's end game is, or gayboy for that matter, but what i am sure of, is that it isn't about building a decent football team. They are cashing out and i doubt even Marc Jackson would be interested in the carcuss they leave behind. Regardless of who buys them the CVA will be a millstone around their necks, for far longer than the 5 years it will be executed over. They stitched the PL up and broke the rules (See storries email regading paying his mate Willie) that were put in place to try and protect them. The FL and the PL may not be one or indeed even friends, but they won't just let this go. In addition to the barebone squad which they will field next year (Don't listen to storyteller saying they will only sell four players) they will almost certainly face "Financial irregularies" charges (point deductions) and then then if Storyteller gets found guilty of tax evasion, then there is another points deduction. That of course is on the assumption that they get their CVA,which is something I am not convinced about. If HMRC do accept it, it will be a first and there will be a reason for it (Probably to pave the way for going after the Directors). Whatever way this plays out, it isn't pretty for them and I'll bare my arse on the town hall steps, if they are not relegated again within 3 years (Lilkely to be next season) Parity will be restored within 12 months, sleep easy.
  13. ******* mad when you put it like that
  14. I think it comes from the fact we had one taken away and most have fond memories of Top Rank and the Ice Skating. Actually without getting to heavy over an ice rink, there is sweet fook all for youngsters to do in Southampton and an Ice rink won't change the world, but would definately be welcome
  15. Just been released by pompey and the one position we desparately need. Are we kidding ourselves thinking we can pick up a couple of old Premier players or is the best we can hope for coming from CC or League 1
  16. See Steves post above, it looks like they have no claim. You are absolutely right though, that his primary obligation is to the creditors, so if compensation was an option, he would be duty bound to pursue it. However from what i have seen and heard of android, i think he might of missed that day in class, when they covered that bit.
  17. By my fag packet calculations, we are going to hit 1 million views in about 18 days. I'm kinda hoping for Y2k moment where the forum program has no understanding of this additional zero and goes into meltdown, at about the same time as the CVA is rejected, Storrie is arrested, the gun runner accidentially treads on one of own landmines, The thai lady sucks a little too hard and TCWTB is mowed down by some 12 year old joyrider in Paulsgrove. I hope someone has saved this thread.
  18. I think we should have one, although would agree that the forums have gone some way to replacing the reasons in which they (Most clubs fans) originally set them up. We are a big club, (I didn't realise how big until this season) and a recognised body of fans could (Or should) only be a good thing. I applaud anybody who has got of their arse and done something for the fans , the club (Or even in the belief its the right thing to do) but at the same time, think that SISA, The Saints Trust etc. have run their course. A brand new enitity, with new faces at the helm, would be the way forward, but although it's something I'd like to see, i don't think it's a majority view and doubt there would be enough interest to get it off the ground.......May be i'm just rememering back to the old Saints Supporters club, that used to be a really good laugh after the game.
  19. I see unite have taken to full page adverts in the London press today, to try and stop the wave of public outrage at the strike.
  20. Elton John has just split up from his husband, after he found out he was having sex behind his back.
  21. Franny turned up and my nephews presentation and stayed the whole night. Absolutely nothing in it for him to still be doing the rounds, top bloke and I guess, some people are just nice guys.
  22. There's a bloke called Pete, who lives in Hayling Island and he was wondering what your hourly rate was and if you charged image rights?
  23. Sorry Hatch
  24. Is that like one of those Referendum promises ......errr like the Lisbon treaty
