Funny how different people see different things, I thought that they were absolute crap (particularly in the first half) and should easily have been 3/4 down at HT ! I can't ever remember seeing so many passes going straight out of play instead of finding their man ! That said, Man City did not look like a team who've just spent £200m but they were always in the comfort zone except for the last few frantic minutes when Nugent missed a sitter !

The voice of reason, well said ! In virtually every game we have introduced new players to the team, so inevitably it will take time to gel ! Drawn 3, lost 2 is disappointing for sure, but we will become difficult to beat in the future and with a couple more quality signings I am confident that we can kick onwards and upwards ! I have seen the 4 home games so far and feel that we have improved game by game so that is encouraging ! As for those who may slag off the new owner, get a grip, please....

Pardew has used the word 'dysfunctional' a couple of times in relation to the squad and the more these snippets come out, the more you begin to realise why !! I agree with most on here who say " if he wants away, let him go", it's pretty academic whether they have ability or not, basically they are 'bad apples spoiling the whole bunch' and right now we need only those who are entirely committed to the new regime at SMS !!!

Most scouts prefer to remain anonymous. I remember in my day when playing for the county schools team I was told that the old guy with the cloth cap standing by the touchline was a scout for (Greenock) Morton and he was watching ME ! I asked how he would get in touch and was told that they would write to me ! That's how it was done, very low key ! Ps. The letter never did arrive, fecking Royal Mail, eh ????

Having slated Wotton in the past, I have to say that he did well tonight ! James can play a role in MF as a steady link for other more creative types but i don't like him at RB mainly because of his lack of pace !

I would not play James at RB mainly because he lacks pace and is slow to turn and recover ! He has done well in midfield IMO as he keeps the play moving and has a good cross on him ! If we don't get anyone in to replace Murty I would opt for Thomas as he has would add a bit of muscle behind James on the right flank !

My mate has a spare ticket which you could make him an offer for ! You could sit next to him during the match. He shouts and sings a lot and is a great laugh so you would definitely get on well with him ! Ps. It's in the Brentford end !
