Then the punishment should become more severe ! If shirt pulling and diving in the box were to become automatic reds (and the refs applied the rules properly) then we would no doubt have half a dozen reds in the first match which would send out a proper signal and perhaps even solve the problem ! The 'Corinthian' attitude which you mention is worthy in sports like golf and snooker which IMO makes them all the better for it !

VVD played well considering it was his first full match for 9 months, Lemina was ok (how can he possibly lose confidence after MoM performances in the last two games) and Redmond was anonymous ! Stoke are a bunch of whinging bar stewards but our inability to score, yet again was our undoing !

Arsenal are about to lose a number of players for much reduced fees due to short contracts ! I.e. Sanchez - £20 mil in January. There is no perfect scenario but I reckon that long term is better than short !

Went to a match in Belgium on Sunday (KV Mechelen v KV Oostende). Stood in an old fashioned terracing where many were smoking and virtually everyone had a beer in hand ! The atmosphere was great and it really took me back to 'the good old days' ! Wasn't exactly an epic match but I did enjoy it and I thought at the time how good it would be to get back to safe standing at SMS ! Have also been to Dortmund and Celtic Park so am very positive about the reintroduction!

Not even close ! The highest paid executive at Saints in 2016 was on £480k, meanwhile Man City had 2 Dof's earning a total of over £4mil and even WBA had one on £1.7mil ! Saints were near the bottom of the pay league for guys in this position !
