Booing and leaving early is definitely not a good way to show support and personally I find it embarrassing in the extreme ! Claude will enjoy his day in the sun until he loses Mahrez and/or Vardy or even just a few games on the trot . After that he will become a statistic just like Ranieri ! Last night, the conditions suited their direct, pacy style perfectly (admittedly we were crap as well) so he got a great result but things change so quickly in the PL - hero to zero is the mantra ! The most knowledgeable co-commentator IMHO is Davie Provan (very insightful and articulate) ! My favourite though is still MLT because he's entertaining and (of course) THE Saints legend ! As an aside, I used to watch Terry Paine quite a lot on South African TV and he really wasn't very good !

Just thinking about it, I wondered what first name an Mx would adopt ? Peter, Dave, Mark and John tend to imply male ! Susan, Mary, Nancy and Sheila tend to imply female ! Do they have to use Sam/Samantha, Leslie/Lesley etc.. cos otherwise people will assume that they are either male or female anyway and the whole pronoun thing is out of the window !

£22.80 is a mega rip-off even for individualised items such as these ! I used to buy similar items for a large retailer and the landed cost price was around £1.50 !! Makes the replica shirt trade look almost normal !

Somebody told me on Saturday that he asked Boufal (he came very close to the touchline at Brighton) why he was out wide rather than through the middle - his answer was "ask the manager" ! I'm pretty sure that Pellegrino determines, game plan, tactics and subs and it was clear to me that v Burnley this is where we fell down ! In general play Burnley are no better than us but they define the characteristics of the manager (team spirit, hard work, discipline etc..) Perhaps we also play in the image of our man which is a bit dull and uninspiring !

Right now they are two goals up at home against a bottom 3 club whereas we got an away point ! For sure it’s a bit early to start making judgements based on today alone !!

Must be gutting for Brighton fans having dropped two points at home to such a bunch of useless non-triers ! A quick look at the league table may have stopped you making an arse of yourself but hey,ho, if that’s how you see it then good luck to you ! Personally I prefer to be realistic and accept an away point as being ok, not great but could have been worse ! We march on....

An away point in the PL is ok ! Handball in build up to equaliser! Tried to change it with subs ! Better result for us than them ! 9th in league ! Had worse days in my Saints supporting life !

TBF Boufal has contributed very little so I’m not surprised at the change !

Great goal, no doubt and I hope that he gets a start versus Brighton but I urge caution in that he still has a lot to prove in his all round game ! One fear I have is that he will use this to display his individual skills at the expense of playing for the benefit of the 'team' ! Anyway, it's a positive problem for the manager to have and may give some of the others a much needed kick up the backside !
