I got my free tickets for the 2 friendlies online before 9th July as per the system. After the 9th, I tried to get tickets for my grandson sitting next to me (seats are available either side) but it won't let me because it says I'll be leaving a 'single seat' which is not allowed ! Now I have to phone and no doubt pay a surcharge, if they don't get you one way, they always seem to find another way to make it difficult ! Grrrr....

I used to visit China about 4 times a year for more than 30 years and never had a problem ! The multiple entry visa is the best way (and yes, you always need a letter of invitation) but on the few occasions that we were caught short we got them in 24 hours from an office in Hong Kong !

There are clearly different ways of looking at comparisons. You could say that one is unproven at the top level and just recovering from an ACL injury whereas the other is a current international with champions league experience to boot !

It's so easy to slag off the club for something which is based on pure speculation (this thread) ! Nobody knows the full story or even if we were actually in for him in the first place.. but, hey ho, let's have a real go at Les & co, cos we know best !

The ex factory price will be nearer a fiver (will be made in China, not Hong Kong) but the price paid to Under Armour will be substantially higher due to design, marketing, branding and profit charges ! My guess would be that Saints pay around £15 which gives a 70% mark up (on return) which is fairly normal for a retailer !

Disagree, this is the distribution of TV money and should be seen differently from reward for league placings which already exists (approx £2.2 mil per place) ! The 'big 6' maintain that it is them alone who create the interest but ignore the fact that without the other teams there would be no league ! It is greed heaped on greed and guarantees only one thing - the gap will become wider ! IMHO it is neither fair nor sensible !

I will continue to encourage (brainwash!) my grandchildren to support the Saints ! They are the team of our family and there is no other consideration ! All this cr@p about we're having a bad time etc.. is nonsense because ups and downs are an inevitable part of the game ! If you only want to follow winning (big) teams then you are a 'glory hunter' and for me, that is shallow and unthinkable ! Saints till I die !
