Herewith my opinion : You have manipulated the stats to suit your agenda - he has managed for 10 competitive games, 8 of which were with an inherited and dispirited squad, 5 of which were away from home. These matches included Man City, Arsenal & Chelsea. Without his impact and man management skills we would have been relegated. He richly deserved the opportunity to continue with us and this season is a new start for which he should be given some time and leeway to find his best team and system, particularly with new signings on board ! Also I strongly believe that incessant criticism (particularly when allied to manipulated statistics) causes undue negativity and serves no useful purpose except of course, to massage the egos of website trolls ! HTH

It may seem strange to some people but both of those things really bug me ! With a small squad, I think that the Europa League matches will really stretch them to the limit and I think that they will struggle to emulate last season's success when they exceeded all expectations ! Should be good enough to stave off relegation but not much more IMHO !

Those are the very obvious ones but Chelsea at home (no red card) and both Man City games (goals later than the added time) could easily have been included based on their criteria ! I think that we did suffer last season but compared to Stoke, who actually went down because of it, perhaps we got off lightly !

I have no idea what the starting lineup will be and right now I’m not sure that Sparky does either ! We need to get back to the relegation mentality of the tail end of last season though, fight for every ball and die for the shirt ! Having witnessed the last 2 friendlies I am intrigued to see how things evolve but am not building my hopes up as there still appears to be weaknesses throughout the squad and the system ! COYS

Watched Angus in the warm up yesterday and he was 'mustard' - very agile and nimble for a big guy (6'5" apparently) - very impressive and then he came on for the second half and kept a clean sheet ! Can't say fairer than that !
