Bizarrely I was in Glasgow last week and almost bumped into the Krankies as I approached the airport car park ! Little Jimmy is an absolute midget but my mind immediately skipped to the Ted Bates statue ! She must have wondered what the hell I was laughing at :)

Bertrand's body language alone disqualifies him from being captain in my opinion ! I don't know much about his character off the pitch but he does not seem vocal nor does he lead by example when playing ! I was surprised when he was given the armband in the first place and nothing I've seen since merits it. I also get the distinct impression that if it is taken away, he'll throw a strop but right now we need a serious change of attitude and it needs to be done ! Hoj is the obvious choice but sadly there are few other candidates currently playing on a regular basis. For me, a top priority is to sign someone like Gary Cahill in January, not only for his experience in the back line but as a captain and leader !

It would be a great idea but nobody (including the manager) seem to know what it is !!

As ever, I think that MH has picked a team for the job, containment but with pace (well as much as we have in the squad) on the break ! JWP for set pieces which is probably our best chance of a goal ! Just chuck in a miracle akin to the loaves and fishes one in the bible and we'll be fine

TBF, you could say exactly the same about Saints !

Personally I think that Hojberg and Redmond have been our best players so far, all about opinions, I suppose !

Quite right, having just imploded with 10 minutes to go, I'd be amazed if there weren't frustrations to vent and harsh words to be said ! I'd have been even more p!ssed off if they were all smiles and jolly hockey sticks etc.. etc..

I think that will be the case and TBF the result will no doubt hinge upon how many changes / how strong a team each manager puts out !

Mine is no different today, having lost away from home to top of the league Liverpool! Being on holiday in St Tropez and continuing your vitriol does you a disservice, really what is the point ??

Given that it is the 20th Sept and the window doesn’t open until 1st Jan next year, I would suggest that we have time to reflect on this and see how he performs on the odd occasion that he gets a game !

I guess that's true as it's probably unlikely that Saints will offer him an extension !

Would be the ideal move for him although I doubt that Rangers could offer him the same money !

Personally I think that UA are taking the p!ss with this away kit, totally inexcusable to be so late on delivery of what is basically a very plain shirt and pair of shorts ! If they had a production problem they should have been required to airfreight at their cost but whatever the issue, someone has to take responsibility and advise the status to the awaiting customers ! Having brought out a (totally unnecessary) 3rd kit, very similar to the home kit, it beggars belief that this has not been sorted already ! Frankly, they should discount the price as soon as it goes on sale IMO !

Actually when I am at the matches the people around me are generally upbeat but then when I come on here I get a totally different vibe ! The usual suspects, most of whom never attend games, still see fit to start endless threads of 'Hughes out', 'Reed out' etc.. etc.. and everything seems to be neatly tailored to demean the club ! Now that is demoralising !!

Perhaps you have rushed to judgement, they may be sick or injured ??
