  1. I love the way you are so selective ! Let's say - " 3 wins and a draw from our last 6 matches " and it sounds a lot better, no ? And all of this coming from the troll who posted " LoL Puel " when we conceded an early goal v Bournemouth (which of course we went on to win comfortably!) - it seems that criticism is the norm and that any praise given comes with some sort of rider, calculated to demean the manager ! The guy has been given a 3 year contract and deserves a chance to assert his influence over a reasonable period of time, unless some form of disaster occurs (which it hasn't) so why don't you just get behind him and the club for once ? It could even be good therapy for you
  2. Please mail him directly on 'deludedskate@fatpipes.co.uk'
  3. Yeah, but it would be a good laugh
  4. Saturday - Bertrand runs alongside Fraser = pen Wednesday - Long runs alongside Palace defender = no pen Very similar incidents but different outcomes = no clarity ! Ps. Schlupp handball was a stonewall pen IMHO, he swung his hand towards it, amazed it wasn't given = sorry Whitey !
  5. Obviously this will be the case, however, should we win the league you will be required to pay double and if we win a cup there will be a 50% surcharge ! Hopefully these terms are acceptable to you ? Best wishes, Kat.
  6. I'm sure that you are right ! If we all start slagging him off like you and Glasgow then everything will be fine, Eh ?
  7. Cannot agree with this, they defended well but their attack was woeful, hence they didn't score ! Had Jrod missed Afobe's sitter and Tadic missed Arter's pen, there would have been a total meltdown on here
  8. Clearly he doesn't read this forum then which is quite a relief
  9. Tierney is quality but I sort of dismissed him (because we have Bertrand plus back-up at LB) although he played RB for Scotland last night but is basically out of position there ! Dembele seems destined for bigger things than us I reckon but in any case, my first choice would be Armstrong ! Sorry to Celtic fans for discussing this but reality is that we nicked a few from you before !
  10. No I didn't see him tonight nor do I not rate him, I think he has been great for us but 'succession planning' is important and this guy (Armstrong) looks a real diamond - was MoM for Scotland last night !
  11. Stuart Armstrong ? Classy midfielder, great touch, vision and intelligence ! Good replacement for the aging Davis ??
  12. Don't get your knickers in a twist, next Saturday will come around soon
  13. "There's no flies on you !"
  14. Quote from the newspaper article : "Until that time, there remains a shortage of finer details, yet Williams is encouraged by the background of the American". You would think that, given their ownership history, they would reserve judgement and do proper due diligence before getting too excited about the latest 'knight in shining armour' ! 15. TBF he should be a perfect fit for them then
  16. A game of 2 pens !
  17. Must be down to the ref again, surely
  18. Yeah, it should help to ease our relegation fears
  19. No chance to catch Everton, good chance to catch WBA and every chance to overtake Stoke IMO ! Given all that has happened this season, I would say that 8/9th is not the end of the world and we can build on it next term !
  20. Not a lot TBF, but he doesn't play for Liverpool, City or Utd so his value is illogically less !
  21. And Arsenal !
  22. Jonno Quick scored a brace on his debut IIRC !
  23. Totally agree, I watched it live on a big screen (in Sth Africa) and felt that we did really well ! Don't get the negativity at all !
  24. Any away win in this league is brilliant, we dominated almost throughout and thoroughly deserved the win ! Some great performances and much of the criticism largely unwarranted IMO ! We are improving and with the prospect of Caceres, VVD and maybe even Austin coming into the side before the end of the season then the future is looking pretty bright ! COYS
  25. Matches as follows : Aug 2 Sep 6 Oct 6 Nov 6 Dec 7 Jan 9 Feb 3 Mar 2 Apr 6 May 3 TBA 2 So 16 games in Dec/Jan v 5 games in Feb/Mar ! Surely it is not beyond the wit of man to arrange this better ? I think that Puel has a valid point to make !
