There have been a few comments about a 'hostile' atmosphere ! I've just had a text from a mate who is there right now and he says that the natives have been really friendly and he ghas had a great trip so far !

Surely rotation is a requirement this season and the manager is responsible for this. He monitors players in training every day and assesses who is capable of what (physically). Fonte and Davis are older than most, Austin and Bertrand have had recent injuries so may need to be protected, therefore our squad will be utilised ! Can't understand those who consistently say 'play your best team' as it's just not feasible when you play 6 games in just over a fortnight ! Whatever the results tonight and at Leicester on Sunday, the manager is doing a very difficult juggling job to the best of his ability IMHO !

Strange one this, we had a chat about it at the Swansea match and 2 out of the 5 of us already had tickets for the whole bundle whereas the other 3 only had only received the Sparta one ! As we are all ST holders you would have thought that the same process would apply but apparently not. TBF, the two who got the bundle had gone to the stadium to collect and the others (including me) did it online ! Seems odd that you sell a bundle and then separate when surely admin/postage costs are better applied once than 3 times ! Maybe someone on here can explain it to me ??

I noticed that we had a Football league ref yesterday instead of the usual EPL ones (little bloke whose name escapes me!). In contrast to prima donnas like Mike Dean, Clattenberg and that prat Lee Mason, I thought that he adopted a low key attitude and let the game flow. I have no recollection of any particular errors either so well done to him ! I think that maybe the EPL should expand their list and clamp down on 'look at me' type behaviour ! Just an observation.

He did well but I think it's stretching it to say 'he ran the show' ! It was also good all round team performance and his goal probably put him ahead of the others but great experience for him (and Reed) ! Hope they feature more again soon !

Controlled this match from start to finish but need to cut out some very slapdash loss of possession with Romeu being the biggest culprit ! I realise that he otherwise had a good game but he could have cost us on a few occasions ! TBF we played just as well against Arsenal but the difference was the quality of opposition and the result due to a dodgy ref ! Good atmosphere tonight. Enjoyed it !

I am pretty sure that they got a mention on the tannoy at the Watford game which drew much applause from the crowd as they entered the arena ! Not sure that more than that was really needed TBF !

All correct, absolutely robbed by the ref ! Surely if he is going to award a penalty in injury time he has to be 100% sure and not just guess in a 50/50 situation ! It all smacks of 'big team' bias which is sickening !
