I can't agree with the premise that loaning out 30 players whilst retaining their registrations is a good basic principle ! Certainly it hasn't resulted in Chelsea bringing youngsters through their system, instead it is a hedge against increased player values and is only done for financial reasons ! A few loans are fine if it helps develop young talent but at Chelsea it is nothing more than cold hearted business IMHO !

Since he has been here our results (I keep hearing that this is a 'results business') have been extremely impressive and the progression immense ! As the man at the top of the football side of the organisation, he has to receive the plaudits, if only because, had it been the other way around he would have been slaughtered and probably sacked ! TBH, he has been regularly criticised on here (particularly during the summer meltdowns!) so he has not had an easy ride either ! Credit where it is due, he has done very well !

He says "he thinks he's happy" maybe he's just not sure ! Strange but probably just his lack of English language skills !

They'll end up in the same position as us though because the players will have their heads turned by agent agitation and the lure of big money contracts. Then they go on a strop, the club doesn't want dressing room unrest, they get a big offer, say it was too good to resist and off they go ! (ie. Lovren, Lallana)

Who will ever forget the massed ranks of rancid Skates chanting "one peter Storrie, there's only one Peter Storrie" ? Oh yes, they 'fought off' the people who contributed to driving them to the brink !

I realise that Bournemouth are not the richest club around but surely 3 quid doesn't mean that much to them ?? :)

Plus points for your average Skate : A) Still fan owned. B) Still debt free. C) Still bring in £13 mil on match days. D) Still get to watch 'proper' football, no fancy Dan rubbish like the PL ! E) TCWTB still around. WTFILN :)

Top priority IMO, it's ridiculous in this day and age that we struggle to even follow other scores during the match ! Not beyond the wit of man to install a free Wifi system particularly as they have it in places like Old Trafford already, I believe !

Don't worry, Big Vic will be playing and perhaps Romeu too so no worries on that score

He'll be a huge miss (have never understood those who don't rate his contribution) ! Basically the situation will depend on a 'bigger' team coming in with a fee in excess of £15mil and vastly improved wages for him ! No doubt we have offered a sizeable increase to encourage him to stay but it is always the agent who worries me as they have their own self interest in terms of signing on fees etc.. I guess he will go but I'll be the first to celebrate if he stays !

Tadic with the assist for both goals, even although it was not his best performance of late his contribution actually won us the match !

Having used regular windows PCs for many years, I was recommended the iMac to take me forward to the next generation. I have had an Apple iPhone and iPad also for a number of years and was told that the principles were pretty much the same on the iMac although I'm not sure that this really applies ! Having lashed out on one, I find it great in some respects but bloody frustrating on others ! Does anyone have any experience that I could draw on for some fairly basic questions (i.e.. printing a selected field, copy and paste etc..) ?? Tks in advance, Euro.

I lived in Wokingham for many years (next to Bracknell) and with in-laws and the football taking me to Southampton regularly, the advice above is exactly what I would have given ! Bestways it should take about 45 mins but as I never commuted in rush hour I could be well out on that calculation ! Good luck !

I think the point that some are making (including me!) is not that he is sh#t, rather that he is very expensive and potentially disruptive ! All academic as it ain't gonna happen anyway !

Do I trust the board ? Yes, they seem like honest and honourable people who have proven that they have the clubs interest at heart ! Do I trust the players ? No, most of them are mercenaries and will leave for more money ! Do I trust the agents ? No, they are in it for themselves and it pays more for them to move players on than it does to stay put !

Tadic plays good football, provides more goals than most in the league and is (arguably) our most skilful player yet he gets slagged off by some for inconsistency, not tracking back etc.. Personally I love watching this type of player and reckon it's up to the manager to provide a balance between creative players and workhorses ! There are many examples over the years where talent was accepted over workload (LeTiss?) and if you wish to watch quality then you normally have to accept that there is a compromise to be made !
