it's great to see the Saints recent revival for two reasons : a) Our team is doing well ! b) The idiots who call for sackings after a few losses are make to look even more stupid ! Surely a bit of calm reasoning is preferable to over-the-top, kneejerk reactions ? We have recovered from a mini slump in results because the board, the manager and the players kept cool heads and worked together ! Had we listened to some of the muppets on here, Koeman would have been sacked, Long, Mane, Pelle, Davis & Wanyama would have been sold and (after selling the club) the new board would be starting all over again ! No doubt we will have another blip but I guess it's too much to ask for a bit of patience and common sense ? Just seems to me to be infantile behaviour which brings only negative vibes and serves no useful purpose ! COYS

Strangely, in the 3 matches he has played in since his return, he hasn't actually had that much to do so you can argue that our success has more to do with the new back 3 system rather than his individual performance ! His presence may well be a big factor but without having to make the saves I suppose that this is difficult to prove ! The bottom line is 3 clean sheets so nobody is complaining and long may it continue !

Maybe he wanted to but TBF after your team has been stuffed 3-0, he would not have been too popular with his teammates/manager had he come out to rapturous applause as they were all sulking in the dressing room !!

Met him once in the boardroom at Fulham (long after his playing days) and found him to be a charming, polite man who had time for all around him ! A true achiever who made a difference. RIP (legend) !
