Terrorist Attacks - WARNING: CONTAINS DISTRESSING IMAGES

Having worked there for 15 years (although not an expert) I would absolutely concur with this view ! -
You're slipping mate, until it's mathematically certain you should not take things for granted

Terrorist Attacks - WARNING: CONTAINS DISTRESSING IMAGES
eurosaint replied to sadoldgit's topic in The Lounge
A bit close to home for me, 2 of my grandchildren right now are at school in Zaventem (about a mile from the airport and no doubt heard the blasts!), my son is at work about 5 miles away but has no idea as of now how he can collect them later ! His mate left Maalbeek station 10 mins before the bombing and said his office building shook just after he got in ! Scary at the best of times but even more when you know people and all the streets being shown on the telly ! -
Why did Mane look so Pi*!ed off , even after his goals?
eurosaint replied to Mr X's topic in The Saints
Just his character I reckon, no ulterior motive re. wanting away etc.. It was more noticeable today as he was responsible for the key moments in the game but he's never been anything other than just a bit miserable ! -
I reckon the key is to keep it very tight early doors as they looked a bit nervy in the 2nd half v both Newcastle and Palace ! Strangely we will have more players than them on international duty so I really hope we don't pick up injuries !
-
I noticed yesterday that he limped off at the end (helped by Dave Watson) and I reckon he took a knock not long after we used our 3rd sub ! Hope he is ok for Leicester as we will surely miss him !
-
The problem has never been Shane Long or his ability, the problem has been that some arseholes on here wrote him off immediately just because of the price tag ! You see what you get with him and you get what you see and if anyone can be bothered to research, you could find a hundred other players who cost more money and delivered a helluva lot less ! Fact is that it's best to sit back and see what develops before slagging people off, just saying like .....

Post-Match Reaction: Stoke City 1-2 SAINTS
eurosaint replied to Saint-Armstrong's topic in The Saints
With the Skates losing 0-3 at home as well, he has obviously crawled back under his stone for the time being -
He'll still be celebrating and too p!ssed to waste his time on here ! If the Newport results prove to be the difference between them staying in the 4th div or not, then the guy deserves honorary membership of the Saintsweb hall of fame
-
I guess the Newcastle game just got a bit harder with Benitez being appointed, just on the basis of 'new manager syndrome' ! Hey ho, we are safe anyway but it would be nice to get a few more points on the board !
-
In this day and age it is surely not beyond the wit of man to resurrect this ! Solid, high quality barriers per row, strict control on numbers, copy the successful German model is all that is required ! Plusses would be a) increased capacity b) better atmosphere c) lower prices. The only thing holding it back is politics as nobody wants to be associated with previous disasters but for me that is nonsense ! Bring it on....

Bet he scores !

Well peed off, in Cape Town, every other PL match live on TV apart from ours ! Streams non existent so have to suffer this thread plus live score.com ! Grrrr...
-
TBF, still equal top 22 points behind the leaders Oh, and 11 points from the play-off places !
-
In the sunshine in Cape Town anticipating the live match on TV COYS
-
Reckon he'll go to a 'massive' club which represents his ancestral home ! Price could be a slight problem but surely he will end up at Pompey
-
I met a Skate on the Isle of Wight once, was a long time ago, mind
-
Can't believe we've got this far and nobody has mentioned the spelling of kangaroo:)
-
Yeah, then roll on August and you can start the same old bollarks all over again ! We're all looking forward to it, no doubt

Wanyama is a very effective footballer for us, if he were to improve his range of passing he would be worth a fortune ! The fact that he wants away clearly does not endear him to the faithful (understandably) but that does not diminish his ability ! His disciplinary record is poor but he is more reckless than malicious and IMO his size and stature make him stand out more than most and opposition players often exploit this ! For those suggesting we should get rid of him cheaply, I would say "be careful what you wish for" as he will certainly not be so easy to replace !!

They showed the incident in slow motion a few times on Sky and whilst I agree that it was clumsy, his foot missed the ball by only a fraction, Payet rode the tackle and then clutched his leg as if mortally wounded ! Redknapp emphasised the point that the WHU players influenced the ref who reached for yellow then changed his mind ! If that merits a 5 match ban, then sorry but I consider it to be grossly excessive ! My glasses may be rose tinted but I reckon that I'm not alone in complaining about this decision !
-
Even Bilic just said that there was no contact although he considered that Vic was 'out of control' !
-
Watch the red card incident closely and you will clearly see the Wanyama had his eyes only on the ball, missed it by a fraction and did not actually make direct contact with Payet (he made a huge meal out of it) and Clattenberg changed his mind based on the WHU players reactions ! If Vic gets a 5 match ban for that, then it is all out of proportion ! The Byram yellow was much more dangerous and the Valencia one not far behind !
-
Red my arse ! Clattenburg does us again
