  1. Don't hold your breath on a reply.
  2. Bloody racist.
  3. Joke decision that.
  4. RE. your first point, it would make the article sound better if they quoted the success stories from the past that have been listed here. And for your second point, I assumed (because they said it was a new initiative) that they had provided accommodation previous to this and were trying to save some pennies by making others pay for their keep.
  5. I thought Jaidi looked a little shaky at times yesterday actually, and has done for a while. His passing is wayward even when trying to be accurate, and I noticed one header V Leeds where he completely misstimed his jump and headed it straight up in the air on the edge of the 18 yard box. Yes, it was one mistake, but sometimes that's all it takes. My point being that "he is solid 100% of the time" is not true.
  6. The point could also be made that at that age some kids might feel awkward in a family environment that isn't their own, making them feel even more home sick. You hear from the players who it helped but i'm sure there are just as many, if not more, who had to leave the club due to homesickness anyway.
  7. If it's been proven to work in the past then obviously I was wrong, but reading that they make it sound as if they housed the players themselves and have given up on that trying to save money.
  8. Well i'd say a proper lodge for the youth players would be the best way (which is what I thought we had anyway).
  9. Why are they hailing it as an "exciting new initiative" then? Even if it has been going on for a while I think it's pretty stupid, and seems a desperate way to save a bit of cash. Not sure why we need to do that.
  10. http://www.saintsfc.co.uk/page/NewsDetail/0,,10280~1993315,00.html EDIT; well that's me proven wrong then.
  11. "Pahars...it's opened up here..." http://news.bbc.co.uk/media/images/39662000/jpg/_39662269_pahars_emp300x245.jpg "Marian Pahars makes it 2-0 to Southampton!" http://www.tottenhamhotspur.com/uploads/assets/240x359/news/old/5729-6.jpg Only one I could find of Pahars and Beattie had a bloody great Southampton FC watermark in the middle though.
  12. If the studs were showing or the boot was above knee level I would agree with you, but I am talking about a challenge where a player swings for the ball, misses but also misses the man. Are you telling me that could conceivably be given as a penalty? Nobody has the right to tell the defender that he deliberately tried to take the man in that situation, as nobody but the defender knows for sure.
  13. She's a weird one, that's for sure. Whilst I know she is fairly attractive, I don't find myself attracted to her in the slightest.
  14. What a load of rubbish. So you're telling me the defender challenged, in his own area, with the intention of fouling him?
  15. All I can remember about Swindon was that monster steward sat near the entrance. Got a picture of her somewhere.
  16. FFS. The Dell had character because there were memories with it, not because it looked unique. As for having a stadium on a major road - are you nuts? Can you imagine 32,000 fans walking straight out onto the hill next to the train station?
  17. Nice one, not made clear by that article but will there be a piece on him in fourfourtwo?
  18. Nope.
  19. Puncheon.
  20. Completely wrong. Look on the thread about the ref, the pics show clearly that Becchio has Fonte in a stranglehold.
  21. No backing out of this now
  22. Absolute b*llocks, Harding tackled him and it went out for a throw in.
  23. Well that means they still haven't sold out this season
  24. Click the big button that looks like a triangle on it's side.
