Personally I think we've got completely the wrong impression of Cortese. All the negativity is coming from the media and the fans - you hear people in the game talk about us and they have nothing but praise for the way things are being run. Yes, he will make a few mistakes - the photographers ban, no instalment plans etc. but he is new to this. He will learn. From now on i'm going to get fully behind him.

The Howe thing was b*llocks, there is no way we offered him the job. IMO we never withdrew the offer for Adkins.

I always thought that if Pardew were to be sacked a few players would be looking to move on. However, I don't believe for a second that any players will kick up a fuss before meeting the new manager.
