Nobody is saying let's wait until the end of august. Some of us seem to realise that we had 3 quarters of our pre-season taken up by the takeover, and as such we have no hope in hell of getting off to as good a start as others. Let's not forget also, that there is a strong possibility that any players we enter negotiations with will already be in advanced talks with other teams, and as such we will automatically be in a weaker position.

We had him on trial in the 05/06 pre-season. Redknapp turned him down and he went to Brighton.

No worries. To be fair, I don't know what the usual amount is you should get paid for holiday, but at the moment we're being paid less than half we would be getting if we'd worked. As I said, this isn't one of my major worries.

I never complained about the holidays :confused: The point I was making R.E holiday pay was that I work 13 hours a day, and only get paid 6 hours if I book a day off. So if I book a week off, i'm going to be in the sh*t with any financial commitments.

I understand this, and I won't be expecting to still be working there should I take any action. The new manager i'm working under is actually my employers father-in-law (who I might add had never worked in this type of job before, wonder how he got the position). So I won't be discussing this with him. There are a number of people throughout the whole company though who have complained in the past but never actually taken it further.
