Stadium Upgrades - Block 31 Kingsland..

The prices there were already higher to reflect that. Sometimes your absolute refusal to find fault in what the club does is outright embarrassing. -

You're not on your own mate, this is a baffling move by the club. Maybe the season after we finished high up with Koeman this would have been stomached, but now? After covid and the last 4-5 years? -
Completely agree. He may well find a new lease of life somewhere else playing bits and pieces and a different kind of role but it's irrefutable that he's struggled and declined with us since Ralph has been here and probably a little bit before that.
-
The ol' Saganowski effect.
-
Actually we scored more goals than anyone else in the bottom half this season bar Villa and the same as Everton. Conceding has been our real problem - remember the stat of points lost from a winning position? A horrific stat for sure, but only possible because we scored to put ourselves in a winning position in the first place.

Pretty sure that teams like City who have invested an insane amount in their facilities have, for example, individual ice baths for single players to sit in whereas we have communal ones which were unavailable for use during lockdown. That would massively hamper recovery. Touche.
-
I agree entirely. I might be trying out the acetone and cotton swab trick to remove the sponsor on this one though...
-
Which ones? The arrows on the red are pointing up.
-
I thought only teams that had a large amount of senior players out of contract did that, with us it's basically just Bertrand?
-
Alternatively if he has better players and better service around him he'll get more goals and be in the squad.
-
I think the option we're exploring is a loan for another season, which says to me we're even more skint than we thought we were.
-
We were top of the league and bang in form when he was starting in the team regularly. Less than £10million spent overall to have him for 2 years is good value. For those saying there are better out there who would cost less in wages, well probably yeah - but what would there transfer fee be as well?
-
Nope, obviously I didn't know that. They're fucked. No-one is paying top money for Zaha anymore.
-
It's a huge job, unless they're sitting on some unspent funds or they're planning to sell Eze to raise a little bit (still wouldn't be enough) I think you could be right.
-
5 years and nearly 200 appearances after signing and we're still talking about the player redmond COULD be if he is coached properly, or develops his game the right way, or if he just takes on his man more. I honestly don't understand how anyone can still defend him. All that time and all those appearances later and he's worse than the day he arrived.
-
You're not wrong, but unfortunately the first transfer window where he will be freed of a lot of the big contract dross will be NEXT summer...does anyone think he'll get another season of shite in order to reach that point and take advantage?
-
We DID shop in that higher bracket when we had money to spend. Vestergaard, Lemina, Honest, Carrillo, Osvaldo all were huge transfer fees. Unfortunately they were all bad buys as well. The idea that saints never spend £15-20million on players isn't true, we just fucking wasted it and then hamstrung ourselves with a huge wage bill.
-
Targett was already a solid left back when we let him go, it's absolutely not a ridiculous notion to say that we should have given him the games he wanted and cashed in on an already declining Bertrand.

There was a mention in the recent fans forum of them coming up with a reduced price scheme for those who had season tickets in league one, nothing comes of that and instead we get a huge price hike in one area. -
...what? It was a tongue in cheek comment about the players form from then onwards.
-
That'll be why we gave up from then onwards then.
-
I've switched to the city game, hoping to see aguero sign off with a hat trick.
-
Salisu flaking at the first sign of a bit of abuse from the stands.
-
Redmond, Minamino, Diallo all really poor today and he takes of KWP for Romeu. I am rapidly losing faith in Ralph.

What the fuck is that sub!?!?
