  1. Founded in 2009. Mental.
  2. Hence why I gave a low end estimate. Whatever it is, it'll be more than enough to bring in the 3 players we'd need to be in a really good position going into next season.
  3. Agreed. Cut price sale on our deadwood; Lemina £10million Boufal £5million Forster £5million Carrillo £3million (he really is that bad, might even struggle to get that) Elyounoussi £5million Hoedt £3million Gunn £5million Reed £10million £46million brought in and anywhere between £350,000-450,000 a week saved in wages. We wouldn't miss them at all so they wouldn't need replacing (besides Gunn) and it would allow us to sign a Hojberg replacement and a new goalkeeper. You can even chuck Vestergard in there and suddenly you've got over £60million to spend on a keeper, centreback and midfielder.
  4. The Reed situation could be a good warning of what will happen to Jankewitz if we sign another player now.
  5. Is it not? Surely the person or people booing is taking just as much of a stand for what they believe as the person kneeling.
  6. Went down for me about 2 hours ago and been slow since coming back.
  7. I think JWP has proven beyond doubt he can play as CM.
  8. I think it's ironic he describes it as disgusting that they booed him for taking a stand for what he believes in...isn't that what they're doing as well? It takes much more guts to speak out against the mainstream than to just go with it as well.
  9. We signed Fonte at 26 or 27 IIRC. At that age for a CB with good reading of the game you can still get up to 5 years out of them. Even just 4 years...£5million a season for a top centreback doesn't sound like a bad deal to me.
  10. Tricky situation. I'd be happy with Romeu and JWP with Reed rotating in when one needs a rest (does JWP rest?), But only if Reed will sign a new contract...but he'll only do that for a guaranteed first team place as it seems he's got at least 3 Prem teams offering him a starting place in midfield. So we may well be better off taking the £8-10million for Reed, trying to sell off at least one of Boufal, Lemina, Hoedt, Forster or Carrillo and using the £15million-ish to sign a young midfielder to understudy for this season looking to step in for Romeu next season. I'm more fussed about finding someone strong in the tackle and with good reading of the game to intercept than someone who will get forward and score/create goals. We have two wide players, two strikers and JWP for creating goals.
  11. My sources tell me this was confirmed in the last few minutes.
  12. Spurs fan on another forum reckons he'll be their sole defensive midfielder allowing them to play two attacking midfielders with freedom 🤔 Anyone else thinking there could be some shambolic displays in Spurs midfield next season?

That is worrying, really hope he's ok.
  14. Probably risks getting his account terminated if he does so.
  15. Thing is those passes into the final third weren't attempted to be at all, he usually just overhits them so much they end up going that far.
  16. 'Spurs complete Hojbjerg signing' http://www.skysports.com/share/12046253
  17. If that was their thinking then sure, but I've seen plenty of Spurs fans under the impression they're signing our best player and the best centre midfielder outside the top 6 🤔
  18. I think the weak and lightweight argument is lazy due to his size. He reads the game brilliantly.
  19. Boufal has had so many chances under so many managers playing lots of different styles. Bye bye.
  20. What's the punishment for going over the cap then? Please say points deduction.
  21. Guessing this isn't the official one?
  22. Ah I see. In that case they'll have a slight advantage if anything.
  23. Wasn't their wage bill £4million? With 8 squad players out of contract? In other words, their first team is gutted with no spare cash to replace them? They'll be a good bet to go down again this season.
  24. Last game of the season was possibly his best game for us. Needs to play with that attacking intent more often instead of constantly turning inside and playing it sideways or backwards.
  25. Hojberg would be much more effective as a midfielder who presses high up the pitch to win the ball before laying it off to the more creative players rather than being a player that sits back and shields the defence.
