  1. Cheers guys, got something sorted now.
  2. Anyone got one or two spaces in their car for the trip up on wednesday? Train prices have shot up over the weekend, was waiting to hear back from someone before booking and now I can't afford the f*cking fare price. Obviously more than happy to pay petrol money.
  3. But seeing as we're going for technical skill over physical, the rate they mature shouldn't make a difference. Also pretty sure we bring people into the fold up until 16, plus sign hot prospects from other clubs i.e Gallagher and Stephens.
  4. £189million, doesn't sound far off. Would assume they're putting VVD alone at £50million for that valuation, from there you only need 19 players valued at an average of £10million.
  5. And that in all fairness to Shaw who was/is a great player, it's not difficult to stand out in a team that's just come up from league one in two successive seasons. Harder for Sims, Stephens, Reed etc. to stand out now in an established Prem team with a lot of experience at this level.
  6. Saying his name really fast sounds a little bit racist for some reason...
  7. Only a 3 year deal? Either the club doesn't have total faith or his agent doesn't want him to be tied to the club for too long. We usually hand out 5 year deals as standard to anyone under the age of 26.
  8. He was sat on the bench yesterday, was he not in the squad then? We should definitely try and get Begovic in the summer if Forsters form doesn't improve.
  9. Wigan was an interesting one. Went in search of Wigan pier which was mentioned in a film once I believe, wasn't supposed to exist but turns out it did as we found it. God that sounds dull as f*ck when typing it out. Getting p*ssed is better.
  10. He's clearly a part of Chelseas plans now.
  11. Match of the day didn't even show the incident with Vardy on VVD.
  12. Everton fans would probably use that to prove the League Cup to be the most prestigious competition in the world, were they to win it.
  13. Hoping Davis and Van Dijk are fit. Stick Davis in for Hojberg and keep the rest of the team the same please.
  14. Huge bonuses are the way to go.
  15. Oops my bad, I only remember him playing cup games so far this season.
  16. One dodgy pass, few good headers. Didn't have a whole lot to do. Worked out well for him having such an easy debut.
  17. Does any other club do the two captain thing? I remember we started doing it when we signed Hammond and Adkins wanted an outfield captain instead of Davis, but kept the latter as club captain.
  18. I agree, not saying he should have rotated...but from what we know of Puel it probably means we'll be playing a "weaker" side midweek. Mcqueen for bertrand, long for jrod, sims for tadic etc...
  19. Real statement today from Yoshida. He'll see this as a huge opportunity to make that centreback spot his and I have faith that he can step up.
  20. Much better performance today. Although slight worry for me that he picked his "strong" team, they put in a f*ck ton of effort and presumably are going to have to do the same on wednesday, minus VVD.
  21. I agree. Sounds a lot better in the stadium that it does on the speakers of your phone/computer. It's not perfect, the lyrics could do with tweaking and needs re-recording with someone that doesn't have a lisp, but it ain't the embarrassment people make it out to be. If it had been released last season we'd have all been belting it out. Just unfortunate it's coincided with our worst run of results and dullest performances for years.
  22. It'd be a hell of a statement if we went and won by 3 or more goals here now.
  23. What striker did we lose last january then? Don't understand everyones reaction to this. If we signed Gardos today for £7million quid, everyone would be saying "let's see what he can do". Yet because he's been out injured for a while after looking decent and settling in well, he's being written off.
  24. Or he's just gutted at one of his best mates leaving his place of work. Don't read more into it than there is.
  25. Yeah, if I don't enjoy the day it's not worth me spending the money dipsh*t. We were playing sh*te when getting relegated from the Championship and for large parts of the first season in league one, but I still went because it wasn't costing me a huge chunk of my wages to do so. Hasn't changed how passionate I am about the club. Don't try to lecture me on modern football fans Alex, i'm older than you and have no doubt been going regularly for longer, including the entire Championship relegation season travelling on my own from Weymouth.
