Match of the day didn't even show the incident with Vardy on VVD.
-
Everton fans would probably use that to prove the League Cup to be the most prestigious competition in the world, were they to win it.
-
Hoping Davis and Van Dijk are fit. Stick Davis in for Hojberg and keep the rest of the team the same please.
-
Huge bonuses are the way to go.
-
Oops my bad, I only remember him playing cup games so far this season.
-
One dodgy pass, few good headers. Didn't have a whole lot to do. Worked out well for him having such an easy debut.
-
Does any other club do the two captain thing? I remember we started doing it when we signed Hammond and Adkins wanted an outfield captain instead of Davis, but kept the latter as club captain.
-
I agree, not saying he should have rotated...but from what we know of Puel it probably means we'll be playing a "weaker" side midweek. Mcqueen for bertrand, long for jrod, sims for tadic etc...
-
Real statement today from Yoshida. He'll see this as a huge opportunity to make that centreback spot his and I have faith that he can step up.
-
Much better performance today. Although slight worry for me that he picked his "strong" team, they put in a f*ck ton of effort and presumably are going to have to do the same on wednesday, minus VVD.

I agree. Sounds a lot better in the stadium that it does on the speakers of your phone/computer. It's not perfect, the lyrics could do with tweaking and needs re-recording with someone that doesn't have a lisp, but it ain't the embarrassment people make it out to be. If it had been released last season we'd have all been belting it out. Just unfortunate it's coincided with our worst run of results and dullest performances for years.

It'd be a hell of a statement if we went and won by 3 or more goals here now.

Club won't be replacing Fonte, gardos to get his chance
Saint_clark replied to Mr X's topic in The Saints
What striker did we lose last january then? Don't understand everyones reaction to this. If we signed Gardos today for £7million quid, everyone would be saying "let's see what he can do". Yet because he's been out injured for a while after looking decent and settling in well, he's being written off. -
Or he's just gutted at one of his best mates leaving his place of work. Don't read more into it than there is.

Yeah, if I don't enjoy the day it's not worth me spending the money dipsh*t. We were playing sh*te when getting relegated from the Championship and for large parts of the first season in league one, but I still went because it wasn't costing me a huge chunk of my wages to do so. Hasn't changed how passionate I am about the club. Don't try to lecture me on modern football fans Alex, i'm older than you and have no doubt been going regularly for longer, including the entire Championship relegation season travelling on my own from Weymouth.
-
Oh I did enjoy that.
-
He said at the time that Southampton would be his quickest route to the Prem. He was right.
-
Complain about players wanting to leave. Complain about players wanting to stay. What the f*ck.
-
What's lunacy is wanting to keep the same team that started V Norwich.
-
Agreed, that's £248,800 a month more than me and i'm getting by.
-
"We're dooooomed!"
-
Yeah, it hasn't been great this season. With a sulking Fonte as captain. Point is when people want to leave, they will leave. At least we aren't being taken for mugs in the deals we get.
-
How have you decided that we've just read stuff on social media and taken it as gospel? Is it because you've looked at the available evidence and reached that conclusion on your own? Because that's exactly what we've done. Looked at the evidence, the facts available and reached our own conclusion about events.
-
That looks weird.

Light applause when his name is read out and at the end of the game if he comes over, shouldn't boo (some will, understandable but I won't join in) and some muppets will chant his name during the game. Which for me is more idiotic than booing.
