  1. Stunned by that in all honesty. Didn't wanyama only get back from international duty yesterday? And Romeu has been amazing for us.
  2. Davis should not be anywhere near DM ever again. He's a solid player further forward but is a liability there.
  3. If we're being honest we've ALL seen the potential there. He's just been very, very nervous.
  4. Rooney made his first tournament appearance in 2004, Walcott made his first tournament appearance in 2012. He was a token pick in 2006 when he went to the world cup, we didn't qualify for 2008 and he was left out the squad for 2010 - which Capello has since admitted was a mistake and even Messi said was a shock. Rooney was 18 when he went to the 2004 tournament, Walcott was 16 when he went to the world cup 2 years later. Walcott has had massive injury problems whereas Rooney has played probably well over 90% of the games for England in the last 10 years. And finally...Walcott has been wrongly shoved out onto the wing for his entire career since leaving Saints. On the odd occasion he has played up front in the last season or two for Arsenal, he has looked incredible and banged the goals in. Your comparison is ludicrous.
  5. Not all Prem players are pacey...
  6. Where are those from?
  7. If he realises Spurs were never serious enough to make a decent offer and we give him what he wants in wages I don't see why not.
  8. No.
  9. Depends, all very well saying "if he makes a mistake no point in getting on his back" (which is true) but it's the effort he puts in i'm more interested in. If we see anymore moments from him like for the Midgetland goal where he just ambles around well out of position while his opposite number belts the ball home with all the time in the world, then I'll consider giving him abuse.
  10. I'd definitely have Romeu in midfield instead of Wanyama, stick Victor on the bench until he sorts himself out.
  11. Watching his interview, he's incredibly honest and seems a sensible lad.
  12. Said last season that I thought JWP could fill Schneiderlins role. Hope Koeman sticks with him there for a run of games.
  13. Think we advanced too quickly for him. If played in his preferred position of striker instead of forced out to the wing, I reckon he'd be a decent striker for a lower half side.
  14. This. When we're crying out for creativity and unpredictability and complaining about the workmanlike performances of Davis and JWP, Ramirez is another option.
  15. Maybe he will, all i said was that if we get offered the right amount we should accept it. I'm not holding my breath though, all signs point to him putting in sub standard performances all season. And even if he does come back to his best, i'll never fully like the guy again as he was a big reason behind our first european campaign in ages going tits up.
  16. "Saints fans face a nervous couple of days before the transfer deadline shuts" I'm not nervous at all, thanks.
  17. But he knuckled down before the season started. Wanyama has looked lazy, barely tracking back at times, all season so far. The Midgetland home game an excellent example, watch the goal back but keep your eyes on Victor and ask yourself what the feck is he doing.
  18. Bit of a leap. "So Ron, this situation with Mane and Victor, what do you think?" "I don't want them sold, under any circumstances" "Ok, that's that then" Reed has always said in the past that no players are sold without the manager signing off on it.
  19. Given our lack of creativity at times i'm still really disappointed Ramirez hasn't been given more of a chance this season.
  20. Yeah, hope he cuts that out.
  21. His performances have lacked commitment to such an extent that he's been detrimental to the team, so in all honesty i wouldn't be upset if the club got rid. Ruined his reputation with us Saints fans just as he was becoming a cult hero. If someone offers £20million get rid. Who's the top DM in the championship?
  22. I disagree with him a lot but he's right here, St Marys is in a fantastic location, i'd hate an out of town stadium.
