I think he's done well and will be a good player for us, but I don't believe for a second he'll be as good as Schneiderlin. People seem too wrapped up in the idea that there are only players of Schneiderlins quality and then sh*t players, with nothing in between.

I think 3 has happened the last few games more than it has since Arnhem away. The last 20 minutes against Liverpool sparked something in the crowd, and the atmosphere was much better against Villa. Can't speak for Palace away, but i'm expecting it to continue tomorrow.

I disagree, they're about the same. I've seen both scuff, miss, hit straight at the keeper...and I've also seen both actually finish them on occasion.

Jrod got a LOT more game time and a lot more chances created for him. His finishing when one on one is poor.

Everyone has strengths and weaknesses. Shane Long is no worse when one on one with the keeper than Jay Rodriguez.

At one point today I saw the ball go into Long who was ahead of his man out on the wing, but instead of running on past him he took a touch and laid it off to Davis. Just strange. Also bizarre is the fact that Mane is played so deep, he takes it past 2, 3 sometimes 4 players when he gets it - so stick him up front, let him take it past one and be through on goal! There were some very good passing moves from Saints today and some very good chances created. Biggest plus - Gazzanigas confidence will absolutely skyrocket and we may start to see more from him. I'd keep him in goal for Spurs.

Had more chances than them in the end. Lots of positives there for me in a game where I wasn't expecting a result.
