Yep, it will take monumentally awful form for the rest of the season for us to finish outside the top 6 now.

Weird game where we didn't actually play that badly but lost 3-0. City were clearly well up for it. Shame Bayern couldn't hold on midweek. Once they got a goal and even after going a man down they were always dangerous on the break. Not too fussed as we'll play worse than today and beat sides. We're not as good as Man City - shock horror. We can still finish in the top 4 as other than them and Chelsea the rest of the big teams are still struggling. The 4th spot in particular is well open. We will definitely finish top 6 which is an outstanding achievement.

Unfortunately sunday lunchtimes seem to have poor atmosphere, people with hangovers maybe? I actively avoid going out the night before a match for that exact reason.

I reckon if you ask nicely someone near the front would swap with you. Maybe post your block on here and see of anyone offers.

Nothing wrong with what he's saying in that article. It's pretty clear he's leaving in the summer and I for one will still think highly of him for showing professionalism this season and getting on with it.

Well the stats are well in our favour. In Prem history I believe only 2 teams have been in our position at this stage and not finished in the top 6. At least that was the case one or two games ago. If we get anything more than 4 points from these next 3 games it will be a huge boost. But the thing is, we can afford to lose all 3 and still be in the top 4. I wonder what pundits will say in that case? Losing those 3 games but still being in the top 4 wouldn't be proof that we couldn't do it at all.

To be fair big clubs may well be able to cope well with our christmas period, but they'll have european games as well. The Chelsea game two days after boxing day is nuts though.

Our midfielders always play quick long balls out to the wingers/fullbacks to stretch the opposition. No-ones mentioned that Wanyama did it a couple of times.

The commentator didn't mention anything about the diagonal balls in the first half when he hit 5 or 6 perfectly and they helped us stretch the play.
