In the first half, during those run of corners? Completely disagree. I've been one of his biggest critics over recent weeks but those were excellent corners and if he'd come out that far he risked getting left in no mans land.
-
Absolutely, if he goes in the summer i will have no hard feelings whatsoever. If he goes for £30million or more in january and we sign Sneijder for example, i don't think i'd be too upset then either...

Was only required to come out for a cross once yesterday and he dealt with it decisively, punching it well clear. Very reassuring to see that improving, hopefully it continues in games where teams are getting more balls into the box.

Post-Match Reaction: SAINTS 3-0 Everton
Saint_clark replied to Saint-Armstrong's topic in The Saints
Prepare for increased blood pressure: Letting Everton carry on with one of their players down, then ordering Forster to put the ball out of play as soon as we got the ball. -
Eljero Elia - Confirmed 6 Month Loan

"4million euros is nuts"? Not really in todays market mate. -
If we could be back in the top 4 for january first that will be a real statement.

Maya Yoshida wants a new deal at Saints
Saint_clark replied to Saint-Armstrong's topic in The Saints
Yoshida also scored earlier in the season V West Ham didn't he? Or was that last season? -
In relative terms he's coming through later (compared to our other academy players) at 20 years of age. I kind of like that though that we seem to be giving players longer to develop than the days of dumping Jamie White et al as soon as they hit their 20s.

I'm sure I saw a stat posted on here that Pelle had covered more distance than any other striker in the Prem? Did I just make that up? -
Another 3 goals scored with Mane not on the pitch...
-
It would indeed. But they're relaying it AFTER the game against us.

Have they though? Really? How many players in this league have played every league and cup game AND every game for their country (meaning no rest during international break) and still maintained a high level of form? I think you'll find that most players either; Dont play during international breaks, getting a rest there. Get rested in cup games. Play for a big enough team that they can rotate their squad in the league without affecting performance. We're in the strange situation of having a first team that all bar one start for their countries, so have not had a moments rest all season. That's why we've seen a dip in performance and that's why the likes of Morgan, Victor and Tadic will look back to their best after a short break.

Matt Targett signs 5 year contract to 2019
Saint_clark replied to Ulrich van Gobbel's topic in The Saints
Of all the criticisms you might have, that is a VERY strange one. How much do you think this contract will be costing the club? -
And some great play V Newcastle including at least one assist.

Great memories. The atmosphere at St Marys in the second leg of the Semi-Final V MK Dons remains the best I've witnessed in all honesty.

I was sat in the same area and gave up trying after a while, majority of people just weren't interested in joining in.
-
Yep, I had just left my seat to leave when Lambert nodded the ball to Papa Waigo.

Great show, I vaguely remember when Sir Killalot was first revealed and it being one of the most awesome moments of my life up to that point I wonder if people still build robots or if that show was literally the only reason they got into it.

Interestingly since the home game against Stoke where he scored the only goal of the game, in all the games he's started we've only scored one goal with him on the pitch, and three goals once he's been subbed off. Off the top of my head from the fixtures before that there was: the Sunderland game which was a freak result, but we scored 3 goals after he came on off the bench. Spurs away where he started, missed a sitter, and we didn't score. I think there really is something to the theory of him disrupting the balance of the team.

I was literally thinking about this earlier today. Cheered me right up, some proper laugh out loud moments.
-
You sure it wasn't someone offering payment for the shirt?
-
Bournemouth fans booing after that goal what a disgrace.
-
The home fans were actually applauding Liverpools (not spectacular) goal. Wtf.
-
Bournemouth fans chanting 'scummer' at Lallana. They don't know when to give up do they
