Gardos can come in at CB, Targett at LB, Wanyama at CM, Long in AM/ST, and with JWP and Rodriguez still to come back too. Don't we have Arsenal and Chelsea away and United at home all in a row? They will be the big barometer of where we are IMO. I'd take 4 points from them. Yep. If we get the 9 points from the next 3 games that our form predicts we should, we'll be on 28 - a rate that would see us finish on more points than City did last season. It would take a dramatic downturn in form for the rest of the season for us to finish any lower than 6th, IMO.

We didn't though. Last season we played the ball side to side further and further up the pitch or played it long to Lambert to then play it side to side until someone got a sight of goal from within 18 yards.

Wanyama for who? If you had to choose one of the three CMs who performed the least you'd have to say it was Schneiderlin. Unless you bring him in for Long and put Davis back out wide, but I think that upsets the balance sometimes.

Still settling in some ways - goes long when the pass is played short and vice versa - but is certainly getting there. Not worth £12million but we just have to accept that given our financial influx we had to pay over the odds. Judge him on his performances alone, not compared to his price tag.
