I'll feel a lot better about it if we actually end up buying Bertrand and Alderweirald. Got to be honest, I still don't feel as excited as I was last season simply because the way the players have acted has made me realise how out of touch they all are, and I don't feel the urge to go and cheer them on anymore. Hopefully I get that feeling back with a few wins though.

Quicker i'll give you that, but nicer? A coach fitted out with fridges and TVs and probably games consoles? Fair points, but if the problem with the coach is that it might get caught in traffic then surely the same risk applies with it meeting them at the station?

If the coach is driving up there anyway then why would they not just travel on the coach?

Part of me thinks that he was signed as a replacement for Cork, who has since proved himself to be better (to the management).

He definitely looks where the pass goes before he hits it, intentional for me. I've seen players do stuff like that in the past.

Predicted before the game that Pelle would score but would go on to disappoint (again) against superior defences. Paul Jewell who was watching the game on SSN said that Pelle "must have had 12 attempts and this was his first on target".

I rang up the ticket office and got my mates seat moved for no charge. This was before they were sent out, though.

Pelle will score in this game which will give us all hope, but when he plays against proper defenders again...we'll be disappointed all over again.

I'm going to give him a chance. But right now, from everything i've seen of the guy so far, his technical attributes don't seem to be that great. First touch, ball control, passing ability etc. Put it this way - if he's going to be a successful signing for us, then there needs to be a massive improvement on what we've seen so far.

Have to say I've seen nothing from Pelle so far to suggest he will regularly perform for us, and the fact he's had an awful career apart from two seasons in Holland doesn't fill me with confidence either. Got a horrible feeling he'll be a massive flop.
