In this country they seem to now allow any handballs unless they actively swing their arm to knock it away, where as the rest of europe are still actually sensible and calling a handball a handball. When an English ref covers a european game, it's no surprise the teams will get f*cked off about it.

To be perfectly honest I wouldn't be surprised/unhappy if he got a one year extension. If he goes that's another squad position that needs filling from either a youngster stepping up - which isn't guaranteed - or money being spent, which we want to minimize.

Naismith fell on top of him and was trying to get back up, he wasn't holding him down. And i know what the rules say, but it's only recently that refs have changed the way they give free-kicks. They used to always give a free-kick or a pen for accidental handball, and a booking as well if it was deliberate. You can say it's unfair to punish someone for an accident, but not all fouls are deliberate either.

Christ, what have you seen to be able to make a judgement?
