  1. I said this would happen in the "Should we give Puncheon another chance?" thread...
  2. I thought he was making more of a comment about how he'd be so ecstatic at Pompey going under that he wouldn't be fussed about refunds etc.
  3. Will gamestation not sell it either then?
  4. Whittingham would be a great option for CM, not sure Davies is better than Fonte or Hooiveld - but Phillips would be an outstanding option for RM. As for fullback, I think both could do a job in the Prem - and there's certainly no-one better in the NPC.
  5. Guly is the only person not back defending there, obviously too lazy
  6. I can't think of any chant in the world that takes over a minute to get through just one rendition.
  7. I'm not sure it's as many as you'd think, actually.
  8. People forget that James was actually a central midfielder though - it was just our lack of a recognised right-back that saw him stuck there under Poortvliet.
  9. Le Tissier V Crossley?
  10. I remember Pardew being really excited about him, saying he was one of the best young passers of the ball he'd worked with. Wasted potential or poor judgement?
  11. Snodgrass has been quiet all season, he was brilliant today but it was an above average performances from their whole team.
  12. None of them. Davis V Cardiff a few years back, reminiscent of Banks V Pele. It's featured on the "Welcome Markus Liebherr" video I believe.
  13. That was stunning.
  14. Not really, we'd have no cover at LB if Harding wasn't on the bench.
  15. Saints: Davis, Richardson, Fonte, Hooiveld, Fox. Chaplow, Cork, Schneiderlin, Puncheon. Lee, Lambert. Subs: Martin, Harding, Hammond, Guly, Sharp.
  16. Miserable sods.
  17. Can't think of a better striker in the world right now.
  18. Fair point, I hadn't really thought about the bottom of the table.
  19. Why Forest winning?
  20. I can see both sides of this "logic" war. Yes, the league table would show every team having played the same amount of games at the end of the season. But if Pompey go under then the teams that have already played them twice have played one more game than the rest of us - that's another game they've trained for, prepared for etc. Also suspensions - if Pompey go under and their results are void, do any suspensions served whilst playing them become reinstated?
  21. I was talking about the guy inside the thing.
  22. Those were after the game. Besides, even if it had been before - we're not talking about his overall performance here, we're talking about one moment of instinctual reaction.
  23. They did the same at the start of the season, didn't they?
  24. That's mental. That guys got some guts/serious confidence in his colleagues building abilities. Not even wearing a hard hat!
