Personally I have a feeling the price increases were so sharp this year so that if (when!) we get promoted the increase won't be as noticeable.

You could see he had potential to be a solid CB, just that the team he was in was shocking.

Surely there's a point where money just starts getting wasted? I reckon you could get a similar set up for less than half that, perhaps just not as fancy looking. It'll probably have all glass spires and man-made streams or some rubbish.

That's a fair point. But there are a few "good authority" rumours going around regarding this game, and they all clash. I'm not saying he's lieing, i'm just saying let's wait and see before we start going mental about it.

Considering there's only 6 points seperating the teams in 6th and 19th place, I don't think it's fair to say we've "only" beaten teams in the bottom half.

Also worth remembering that "very good authority" is still a long way from "confirmed". Let's not start complaining just yet.

It's lucky that he switches between throwing to the full backs, the centre-backs and the centre midfielders then isn't it.

No, they count those as well. Even if you accept it wasn't on target because it went in off the post, I can distinctly remember a shot by Lallana that was saved in the second half.
